Well Tigger, this time, when one of her students were hurt, Aunt Jane did not have to worry about being discovered by the public. Poor Audey, she is as messed up s any of Aunt Jane's boy's. I can't wait for Audrey to get into the beauty parlor games and teach those vixens a much deserved lesson. Great work Tigger, may Aunt Jane always win. Thanks for a wonderful story

I agree with CineMan--
According to The Internet Movie Database (www.imdb.com), the part of "Gigi" in the 1959 film of that name (a remake of the 1948 version which was, in turn, a remake of a 1925 silent film), starred *Leslie Caron* in the title role, *NOT* Audrey Hepburn.
However, this doesn't make the story any less charming or enjoyable. I was merely suggesting, with all due respect to the author, that he/she should check his/her facts before publishing. There are people who will *tear* an otherwise-great story *apart* over a few factual errors.

Another wonderful _Season_ story as always.

But I have one question.  What happend to the 'Rocky the Cat' and 'Audrey of the Red Dress' pictures?

Wonderful story and a lot of follow ups to the story as well. Many details with so much content that this story could be made into a fine noval.

A very talented author.

Being a big fan of Jane Thompson, I do hope you intend this to be a gigabyte of her! Why is it that she is the type of woman that is a real woman!

Section 4--SNAP Goes the Nose

Tigger--thanks for acknowledging the 'Gigi' faux pas.  Surely I wasn't the first to point that out, was I?

Obviously, I'm still reading--and not because of my latent masochistic tendencies.  It's good stuff.

My nit this pick is a question of style rather than a 'misconscrewed' fact.

To my eye, the accident is foreshadowed rather a bit too strongly.  Everybody but the mail carrier  (well, OK..and Old Tom) comments on Rocky's poor nose and the issue of surgical correction gets too much discussion beforehand.  The shocker would have been if Rocky HADN'T hit that post with her face.

If horses feel shame, I'm sure Garters would be appalled at being drafted to serve as 'Deus ex equus' in this instance.  She probably wishes you'd just had Marie 'accidentally' smack Rocky with her rolling pin.

Then again..maybe you're sneakier than I think, and I'll find myself saying  'Oh...NOW I get it', in a couple of installments.

"Apparently, our son has decided that the composite picture of Chast. . I mean, Audrey looks like Audrey Hepburn in the movie "Gigi". When you asked Darla if she had come up with a name for our GG, by which you meant, 'genetic girl', the image of the film character flashed into her mind."

*HUGE SIGH*
It's a cute device.  Now if only Miss Hepburn had been IN that movie.  But alas, Gigi was played by Leslie Caron.

I do like the story, but I know my teeth are going to grind every time I see "Audrey's" name.  Probably a disproportionate response--but the rest of it is SO good that the flaw just leaps out.

--"Our son once informed me that the Duke, assuming that is who you were trying so unsuccessfully to imitate, never used the term 'pilgrim' in any of his movies," she retorted, --

Darryl needs to see "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance".  Tom Doniphen (John Wayne) calls Ransom Stoddard (Jimmy Stewart) 'pilgrim' throughout the film.
