What happened to the sister-in-law ?  She should have been part of the story's end.

If Sharon had complete control of him, why did she alow him to leave?  She could have just used, "Pretty Maid" to get him to stay. - she must have realized by what he was able to do that he hadn't listened to the last tape, and while he was in maid mode she could have ordered "her" to listen to it.  Why, during all the time before the unconditioning tape was used, did Sharon make no attempt to regain control?

As far as we know, John had no transgendered tendencies before the vacation; how can he not suspect that the reason he has them after the divorce is simply residual effects of the tape?  Why wasn't he mad when Irma used "Pretty Maid" on him?  She didn't have to do that to use "balloon."

Why not criminal charges of assault against Susan?

How can he have any feelings left for a woman who abused him mentally by turning him into a maid, had permanent makeup put on him, and made him eat dogfood?  Would she really have treated him differently if, during the shopping trip, he hadn't complained and had pretended to be happy?

yes some of the storiews are simular in some parts but i feel the main context in each of theses stories are very differnt the storys are well written and a joy to read i have read most of then]m but will in time read the whole lot well done

This story is far too much like many of your others.  You need to go back and re-read some of your previous stories and see how very similar they are.  I do not know if anyone else has said anything like this and I sincerely do not mean to be nasty, but you seem to have a formula here that could use some new twists and turns.

Thanks to Margaret Jeanette for writing this very sweet story, although it doesn't sound like it from the description and how it starts it was sweet.   It's nice to see the protagonist end up in a happy relationship with a loving wife after having extracted a modicum of revenge on his ex-wife.
