Wow, what an incredible story.  It made me cry when I read through it.  Wonderful.

Joan and Monica are IDIOTS!  What MORONS condemn a story without reading it first!  I guess the only way to handle tragity in our lives is not to write or talk about.  FOOLS!  This story still brings a tears to my eyes.  Very well done, Kelly.  Joan and Monica, GROW UP!

Incredible Monica is an idiot.  There is NO sexual fiction in this story; only tears and hope.  What fool posts comments on a story they don't read, but ASSume is about something else?  Someone who is closed minded to other avenues of griefing other then their own.  Thank you Kelly.  I had tears in my eyes after reading this story.  Truely a touching story.

It's stories like these that make me go to tears immeidiately!  A story of sadness and yet of joyousness.  I believe that one day peace will rule and evil will end like it says in the end of the story. A life without hate, without prejudice, no greed, no selfishness!
Kelly I sure hope that you can keep writing such good stories!  This one shines!

For those who wish to criticize this story without reading it,  WTC - Soul Survivor is not about a sexual fantasy of a man being turned into a woman.  It's a story written in tribute to the fireman and other rescue workers who risked their life, and in some cases, died, trying to save others.

Everyone handles grief, pain, and anger differently.  Some need to talk about it; others avoid the situation until they can face up to the emotions inside them.  Still others like myself write about our pain to be healed.  We are all different in how we deal with our emotions.

I had no intentions of writing a story about the WTC - none what so ever, until Saturday morning when a series of events led me to do so.  To be honest, it was like no other story I had written before.  I cried as I wrote, several times having to stop because I couldn't see the screen through my tears, and yet afterwards felt cleansed by its message.  From the replies I have gotten, I'm not alone.  This story has helped a number of people in their grieving process

To those who have criticize this story without even reading it, I think you're being very unfair not only to me but also to others who have been helped by it.  I respect your right to handle your grief over the WTC in your own way, but please respect others and myself to handle it our way.  My story wasn't written out of disrespect, but out of the grief, sadness, and the love inside me.  It has helped in the healing process of many others, including myself.  I hope and pray that others, who can't deal with stories like this right now, find their own way to be healed over this matter.

Hugs - Kelly Davidson

Sorry to disagree, but i loved this story. I first read it on the tg fiction list and i read Kellys preface on how she came to write it. its a sensitive story not a sexual fantasy and definately not tasteless. its rated G and if you dont want to read it from whats in the synopsis then don't but dont make nasty insinuations. personally i think she was inspired with an angel.  way to go KELLY.

While I am not going to scream foul over this...I have to agree with Monica. This is much too soon. Not even two weeks have passed and this story seems...well...tasteless to me. Well written and full of hope or not, this tragedy cost over six thousand people their lives and -any- sort of sexual fantasy based on that is severely misplaced in my opinion. I would ask you to please remove it and -seriously- reconsider writing such stories in the future. Please.

I'm too stressed out to read the story: The real world "story" is a horrific enough truth.  I'm hoping I'm not alone in thinking that it seems too soon for sexually enjoined fantasy that deals with the awful realities.  I guess I'm uncomfortable with the idea that the subject of this real act of terrorism is already ripe for sexual fiction so soon after the reality. "Offensive" seems too strong a word for the concept of the story, yet I'm very uncomfortable with the idea that real death by religious, political zealots is ripe for a sexual fiction well within two weeks of the real world events.

If this story is sensitively written and is a wonderful story, please pardon me for my visceral reaction--but I can't understand why this story needed to be posted so soon after the reality that hundreds are confirmed dead by real terrorists, and that thousands that are still missing.

Out of tragety comes a ray of hope and a message that eases the pain and the anguish of that day. Kelly.. you done good hon. it was very well writen and reading your original preface i know it was given help from above. we can't turn back the clock or undo things that would make this story unessessary, but it sends a message that in a small way helps everyone remember the heroic deeds of those volenteers that willingly gave up their lives to help others. your story was the first balm that helped me think even as i wept that somewhere god is looking over all us. huggles Kelly

There is hope... for all of us.  Thank you Kelly, for bringing a ray of hope into this senseless tragedy.
