There's no way that anyone (myself included) who has ever worn pantyhose could consider them similar to trousers. Two different concepts altogether. Pantyhose and tights are tight-fitting feminine garments designed to shape and color the legs so that they may be seen. Loose pants or trousers hide the legs, as with a man.
