A lovely story and a lovely ending.

Hi

Just reread Zelda. Who needs a sequel or a prequel? The story is about getting to the connection between Zelda and Yvette. All of us would love to have the opportunity promised to Matt by Yvette's growing acceptance. Thank you. Paula

Judging by all the posts your story was a great hit. I felt so let down at the end as there was no conclusion. I enjoyed your story very much and even after 6 years if you can't write a conclusion please let someone else di it.

How have I missed this lovely piece of writing..... Cleverly constructed situation - probably all-too likely in many lives.....  CD has to leave after lover betrays her inner reactions to TV habits.....  Then,  all may start again when a chance meeting happens.  Beautiful!   I don't see the need to bring in abuse as a child....  many of us love what we love doing without balming 'abuse'    No great need for a sequel,  (letting the imagination about what follows the first a deux encounter is enough!)though it could be interesting.

Lots of love   WbG. xxx

when are you going to finish it?

I just read part 1 of the Zelda story, and I could not take my eyes off of it. My mouth is so dry right now, it is not even funny. I usually drink 6 to 7 pots of tea every day, and there is not much that can get in the way of me getting my tea, but this story definitely has. I crossdress. Not nearly as much as I used to, but occasionally. The reason I do not cross dress as much is because I told my fiancee about it, and she was not ok with it. I love her more than life itself, but I still want to dress up.

Abby Rhodes,

I browsed your story contribution library on Storysite because I am so enjoying the "Drummer in High Heels" series. I am glad that I did, and sad that I didn't do it before. Zelda is a real treasure. You captured the nuances of courtship nicely and tell a story of a couple overcoming obsticles to connect with their "soul mate". Very nice. Thank you so much...

It is so nice to see a atory explore interacting personalities.  As the author, you finished the story right where it should finish. You have done a marvelous job in creating and executing a well toned narrative. Thanks for sharing it and your talent with us.

Really enjoyable story -- moved me to tears.

I'd vote "no" on a sequel, though.  I can't see where there are any questions left to answer here except which house they end up in.

Hi,

I had been waiting for Part 2 for some time!  I am indeed happy that Matt / Zelda and Yvette seem to be on the way to getting together again.  If you recall my previous comments, I guess my wife has gone through some of this as well - she wants me in her life, and if Pallavi is a part of me, she wants Pallavi in her life also, so to say.

Is there going to be a Part 3, or should we assume "and they lived happily ever after"? [/quote]

Yes a part three would be nice!
Great read like all your stories!
Thank you for this one

Dear Abby:

Now that is really fun. A story where the former girlfriend is willing to try and accept her former boyfriends shocking cross dressing secret. Boy, he had better try and treat her right, as a boy and a girl. Zelda is a real winner as a story and I do not think anyone interested in TG stories who gives it a chance will be disappointed.

I think part three will be pretty steamy and I am looking forward to that. You are doing a great job Abby, I admire your talent.

Hugs,

Kristi

After part 2:
Ok, I admit it; I got all misty at the end.  I put my favorite drift around the dance floor song, "Earth Angel" on the stereo and grabbed my unsuspecting spouse and danced with her and kissed her and told her I loved her .. a number of times.  Can't ask much more than that effect from a story.  Major congrats, Abby!
(PS - this is the exact same comment I made about JulieO's latest "protector" story which I read just before this one.  I just copied and pasted and changed the name because the effect of your story was the same - my spouse is quite confused :-)

Abby,
Get all twitterpated when I see you have turned out some more dreaminess.  I know it sounds teenage school girlish, but... it makes my heart feel good.
Thank you.

Gabby

As a crossdresser who has gone through the experience of telling his wife, I think this is a wonderful story.  Please do post the sequel.  I really hope Matt / Zelda and Yvette can get back together and have greate times together...

P.S. My wife has accepted my crossdressing, and even supports me in it.

Zelda is a beautifully written examination of the tension/conflict resulting when one partner in a relationship is transgendered.  I have experienced many of these scenes.  It is as if you were hiding behind a plant taking notes during a dinner conversation I had in years past. Remove the evil mother and the story is common in many of our lives.

I enjoyed the ending.  Please feel free to add more but I have already seen in real life how the story ends.  I am happy to say, it's a classic sappy ending.

Jeanette

This is the kind of story I keep returning here for.  Soft, without the heavyhanded bondage and dominance.  And wide open for a second chapter. thank you

Truth be told, I am much more a fan of femdom literature .. and almost skipped over this story.  What a joy not to have done so.  This was as sentimental and touching and heartfelt a story as I have read in years.  Furthermore, I found the ending absolutely perfect .. a delightful hint of the unknown.  Thank you so very much.

Abby, fantastic story. Please do not stop there. I am a romantic at heart, and would love for Yvette to realize she loves Matt dearly and accepts the Zelda part of him. I know this is very rough for women to accept, that their spouse is better looking than them, and they hate it. but let her become comfortable in her body (Yvettes) so she can be comfortable with Zelda. I know it is an emotional roller coaster, I know from experiance.

Thanks hun
Joni

PS Sorry for the first post, didn't realize I made so many mistakes

WOW!  Great story.   I guess that we are supposed to end the story ourselves, each of us as she'd like, so here goes:

My drab half's scenario:  Yevette, increasingly torn by coflicting emotions, goes off the deep end and brings an AK-47 concealed in her (really big) purse the next Friday.  She wastes Zelda and all the other crossdressers before killing herself.  A bullet hits Robert, destroying his male equipement.  (He elects SRS and eventually, as Evette, takes Yevette's place to remake the foursome of friends.)  When Yvette's body is examined, she is found to be wearing mens' jockey shorts.

My scenario:  With Zelda singing that old beatles tune "Come together, right now, over me" in the background, Matt and Yvette make up.  (Literally: They both feel the need to freshen lipstick halfway through the reconcilliation.)  They and their shared wardrobe live happily ever after.  The ghost of Matt's mother returns but is locked in the secret room in the basement and only allowed out once in a great while when their children become unruley.  Robert joins the priesthood; there is an eventual scandal.
