: I'm on my phone, so typing may be a little off. Anyway, the story I'm looking for features a rteenage boy with an abusive father. He's hidden with a friend of the mother who has a teenage daughter, and is given hormones and a makeover while there so his father won't recognize him if they meet by chance. I read this around 2007-2009, somewhere in that period. Does anybody know what story im referring to?
