Faye's School Days              by: Faye Beattie

Saturday night was so boring. Nothing on T.V., nothing to play with, nothing to do. Faye was getting really tired of this. It was the third day in a row that she had nothing to do as Zoe (her only friend who knew about her really being a boy) was away for a long weekend with her parents. She decided to go to bed. After all tomorrow was a big day. It was the day she was going to look round her new school for the first time and get her new school uniform

"Goodnight Mummy. Goodnight Daddy."

"Goodnight sweetheart. Get some rest. Tomorrow you will have more surprises than you bargained for."

Faye didn't really know what to think of her mothers comment before she went to bed.

That night Faye dreamt of being at school and being accepted as a girl. Everybody liked her and she could finally be the girl she wanted to be. Then she dreamt of the school disco in a few weeks time. They did it in conjunction with Mudchester Boy's Grammar School so that there were boys and girls there. She dreamt of all the boys asking to dance with her but the only one she would dance with was Zoe. That was when she woke up.

No, she couldn't have feelings for Zoe. She was a girl now and girls are supposed to have feelings for boys. She just couldn't be in love. She was too young. She was only 9 and Zoe was still only 8.

Faye's mother came in to wake her up at 8:00.

"Wake up sleepy head. Today's the day. Are you excited?"

"Let's just say Mummy that I didn't get much sleep last night."

"Well, that is only to be expected. Right, come on I'm going to get you all dressed up and looking really pretty for today."

Faye got out of bed and smoothed down her nightgown. She went to the bathroom and had a bath. when she got out she wrapped a towel round her body just as any other girl would and wrapped one round her hair like a turban.

She went back into her room to find her mother there with a hair-dryer.

"I think we'll try something different today. How about pig-tails?" Faye loved the idea. Then she would really look like an ordinary schoolgirl.

After the hair her mother went into her room and came back with a surprise. Faye couldn't see what it was because her mother was holding it behind her back.

"What is it Mummy?"

Her mother showed her what was in her hands. It was the most beautiful skirt Faye had ever seen. It was black with little flowers going all the way down it. It came to just under the knee on Faye.

"Oh wait a minute I've got something else."

Her mother went out the room again and came back with a frilly pink blouse that went perfectly with the skirt. She went out the room again and this time walked in with a pair of black Mary Janes with a 1" heel.

"I don't believe you should be wearing the size heel on your other ones Juliet gave you yet but these are alright."

"Oh, Mummy these are wonderful. Zoe is going to be so jealous."
"Well I just thought you should look a little more grown up than what you usually wear, today. But tomorrow if you want to go back to wearing the frilly dresses I won't stop you."

At that point she left the room so Faye could get dressed.

Faye first put on a pair of red checked panties which had white frills round the edges, then the skirt and shoes and then the blouse. The skirt was incredible. It was lighter than her dresses but longer than the one's she had tried on at her cousins house. It felt fabulous when it swished against her naked legs. The shoes gave her a little extra height and looked perfect with the skirt and the blouse was the most comfortable top she had ever put on. She couldn't help but cry when she looked in the mirror. She looked exactly like every other girl that would be going to Mudchester Girl's Grammar this year.

She went downstairs and first bumped into her father.

"Oh my God! What have you done with my daughter? All I see here is a, what, 12 year old girl?"

"Don't be silly Daddy. It's still your 9 year old daughter just with a make-over."

She went into the living room where her mother was looking through a girls catalogue.

"There are some wonderful dresses in here." She said without looking up.

"Yes but there are some wonderful clothes here as well!"

With that her mother looked up and was gobsmacked.

"I don't believe it. I thought the clothes would make you look a bit older but I never dreamed....They'll never believe your 9 years old!"

They went to the car. It was quite a long journey to the school. About 20 minutes by car but Faye didn't mind. She loved sitting in the car with her new clothes on. It was really comfortable.

They went through the gates. Faye had dreamed of this moment but a few weeks ago she never thought her dream would come true. She thought she would be going back to St. Michael's Junior School as Stuart but here she was. Going through the gates of an all girl's school dressed as a girl.

They went into the Headmistress's office and was told to sit down. The headmistress, Mrs. Brassett, was a beautiful, young (no older than 30) woman and seemed really nice.

"Well, I've never had to deal with a situation like this before. I've known of people like yourself Faye, but I don't think I've ever actually met one. As you know this is an all girls school so we will have to make you the most convincing girl there is. Even though you look like you were born a girl, anyway. First, I'll show you round the school and then we will sort out your uniform. Is that O.K?"

"That sounds great." Said Faye, enthusiastically.

The first room they came to was the hall.

"This is the hall," Mrs. Brassett announced, "This is where assembly's are held and our performances are, well, performed."

"What type of performances are they?" Asked Faye.

"Mostly gymnastic displays and dance routines. You learn gymnastics in P.E. and you have dance lessons twice a week. We teach you jazz, ballroom and ballet. Once a month the boys from Mudchester Boy's come over and we do ballroom with them so you can have a male partner. You HAVE to wear a leotard which comes with the uniform."

"Leotard! But what about my....."

"You'll find out what we are going to do when you get your uniform."

The next was the cafeteria.

"This is where you will eat. We only sell salads and light snacks. We don't like our girls eating fatty foods and its bad for their skin."

After they had been round the whole school they went into a room with a counter a a small changing room.

"Right, now to the exciting bit of getting your uniform."

Mrs. Brassett went behind the counter and first picked out a skirt it was a grey pleated skirt which fastened at the back. It came about mid-thigh on Faye. Next was a school blouse and tie followed by a blazer. Then a red checked summer dress and a grey cardigan, black tights, white ankle socks and another pair of Mary Janes to add to Faye's collection. Lastly came the bright pink leotard and purple, lycra swimming costume.

"Right I think that's everything. We let you borrow ballroom dresses when performances come along. Right come on then. Go and try them on. We have to make sure everything fits."

Faye went into the dressing room. Straight in front of her was a floor-to-ceiling mirror. She took off her skirt and put on the grey pleated one. It ws so comfortable and gave her a lot of freedom. With the blouse, tie and blazer on as well she finally accepted that this was relly hapening. She put on the ankle socks and Mary Janes and stood outside.

"Oh, Faye. You look adorable. You're going to be the envy of the school."

"Thanks, Mummy."

"Well. Go snd try on the other clothes then."

She put on the summer dress and looked in the mirror. Everyday she had watched little girls walk by her on the way to school. Everyday she would be jealous of them. Imagine being jealous of girls who might only be 5 years old. She had wished to be one of them. Holding their mummy's hand and their pink, Barbie lunchbox while she had been stuck with a rucksack and an Action Man lunchbox. But now SHE was one of THEM. She looked at herself in the mirror. Swaying her hips a bit. She had always watched the girls in the playground playing hopscotch. Their dresses bobbing up and down every time they jumped. She had always wanted to have that sensation and now she could. She stepped out.

"Oh, my baby." Both her and her mother started to cry.

"Can I ask one question. Now that we've sorted out those clothes, can you tell me how I'm going to fit into the other clothes?"
"Oh you mean the swimsuit and leotard. Well, I have behind the counter something that every girl has but you don't have and it will be placed over your....er....manhood....and make you look like a girl."

She went behind the counter and produced a small piece of what looked like rubber.

Faye looked worried. "You mean, I put that over my..willy and it won't show?"

"Exactly." Mrs. Brassett replied.

"Can I still do EVERYTHING?"

"Everything."

"I want to wear it all the time."

"Well go into the changing room with your mother and she will put it on you."

With that they went into the changing room and Faye took off her dress and knickers.

Her mother then pushed her willy into her body and stuck the piece of rubber over it.

"Look dear. Now your a real girl!"
Faye looked in the mirror. Looking back at her was a normal girl which didn't have any knickers on.

"I don't believe it." She ran out and hugged Mrs. Brassett.

"Thank you. I now feel 100% girl and ready to learn."

There was a tear in Mrs. Brassett's eye.

"Well. I can't wait to see you on Tuesday morning. I just know the whole school is going to like you."

Faye went home that night feeling on top of the world. When they went through the front door, her father was there to greet her.

"Did everything go alright?"
"Daddy. I've got something to show you."

They went into the living room and closed the curtains. Faye then proceeded to pull down her knickers to show her father that she was now all woman.

"How did....what....?"

"It's all right. It's not real, daddy. But now I can be your little girl without any doubt."

"Well, if it really is what you want, then I'm so happy for you. You're my little princess."

Faye felt a tear in her eye.

"I'm tired. Goodnight Daddy."

Tuesday came as soon as Faye wanted it to. As Stuart she wasn't too bright at school. She was in bttom group for most things but now she felt up to the challenge and because she was much happier nowadays, she was ready to work. Zoe caled for her at 8:00. Faye opened the door in her red checked summer dress white socks and Mary Janes.

"Wow. Now you really are my schoolgirl friend. Are you ready to go?"

"Yes. I'll just get my bag."

It took them about 40 minutes to walk to school and got in just before the bell. They were told to go straight to assembly. Mrs. Brassett talked to all the girls about the new term and what was in store.

".....And I would like to introduce a new girl to the school. Faye, could you stand up please."

Faye stood up and waved, her face was bright red and she sat back down quickly. Luckily, Zoe was in all the same classes as Faye. First they had Home Economics and the started to make dresses using a sewing machine. Faye had never used one before but to her surprise she was a natural.

Next they had Gymnastics and they all went into the changing rooms to change. This was Faye's big test. She had to change into a leotard without people recognising she was a boy. She started to get undressed and then stopped and saw half a dozen naked girls in front of her. For some reason, this didn't seem to bother her. If she was still Stuart, she wouldn't stop staring but now it seemed normal. She stripped and saw Zoe staring at her.

"Where did THAT come from?" She whisered.

"Mrs. Brassett gave it to me as part of the unifrm. Now I really am a girl."
The day went on and with every lesson Faye settled in and didn't want to go home.

That night she went to bed exhausted. But she couldn't wait until tomorrow!

The End

Look out for Faye in a new adventure coming soon.
