Pamela's Honeymoon                  by: Janis Elizabeth

Chapter 1

Sunday morning dawned bright and sunny. To me, it also seemed to have come too early. I lay there in my virginal (not any more) white, long, form-fitting satin nightgown with spaghetti straps that flowed from my shoulders to my ankles fitting over all of my curves, although it currently was not covering that much of anything. Karen lay cuddled up next to me wearing a black satin nightgown in a style similar to my white one. Her nightgown also was not currently covering much of her magnificent body. Our peignoirs had long since been tossed on to the floor and rested there in a heap. Likewise, my wedding gown, veil, crinoline, heels, etc. rested wherever they had been dropped. Karen hadn't started to stir as of yet.

I lay there thinking about yesterday. While I had the usual bridal nerves before the ceremony, they were not evident as I walked in on Ann's arm to become Karen's bride. Pastor Nicole conducted a very proper ceremony. The reception was just one big party. And last night, in the hotel's bridal suite, I truly had become Karen's bride. I was truly a married woman.

While it was delightful lying there next to Karen, I realized that I should start to get up, properly put my wedding gown and associated other goodies away before we left on our honeymoon cruise. I moved carefully so as not to disturb Karen. I got out of bed and let my nightgown again fall to cover my body. I picked up my wedding lingerie and my peignoir and carefully folded and packed them in my luggage. Who says you should only wear your wedding lingerie under your wedding gown. My heels also went into the luggage. Karen's gown was packed in its protective bag. I then put my bridal crinoline in its protective plastic bag. Next was my wedding gown. Before I put it away, I held it up in front of my body and remembered how radiant I had looked yesterday while wearing it as the bride. After a few minutes of this daydreaming, I sadly put it in its protective bag. Hopefully, it would be worn again, not only by any future daughter(s) we might have but maybe I would wear it again on one or more of our anniversaries.

Lastly, I picked up my veil and gently placed it on my head. The memories of yesterday really came flooding back. I was so lost in my reverie that I did not hear or see Karen get up out of bed until I suddenly felt her hands caressing my bottom through the silkiness of my nightgown. "A penny for your thought, my love," said Karen. I turned toward her and we embraced, each of us caressing the other's bottom through the silkiness of our respective nightgowns. "I was just reflecting on all of the happy memories that we made yesterday. As I picked up my veil, I just had to put it on again," I said. Our embrace soon turned into a long kiss. We finally broke our embrace and reluctantly separated.

Karen told me that arrangements had been made with the hotel to hold our gowns until Ann picked them up later that day. Also, our limousine would pick us up and take us to the cruise ship. I leaned over and kissed her softly to thank her for her thoughtfulness. We then started to get ourselves cleaned up and ready to go.

In the bathroom area was a heart-shaped bathtub large enough for the two of us. I started drawing our bath and added some bath crystals to the water. When the tub was filled, I removed my nightgown, put on my shower cap and climbed into the tub. I called to Karen to let her know that our bath was ready. She came in, removed her nightgown, put on a matching shower cap and got in with me. By the time we got out, the water had cooled significantly. We then proceeded to help dry each other.

Once out of the bathroom, I packed our nightgowns and got out my clothes. Karen already had her outfit lying on the bed. She was wearing all black underwear, from her bra to her garter belt to her stockings. Her dress was a soft and silky green that fit to her waist and then flared over her hips to form a full skirt. I finally decided on pink lingerie, with nude stockings. My dress would be similar to Karen's but it would be in pink.

After putting on our lingerie, we helped each other with our hair and makeup. Karen said to be sure that I wore my pad, as it was almost time for my monthly visitor. I smiled and put my sanitary pad between my legs while she did likewise. We then put on our dresses and our heels. Karen looked fabulous and I told her so. I also told her that she had made me look good too. "It was my pleasure," she said "to help you to look good." We laughed and lightly kissed.

The phone rang and Karen answered it. Ann, Karen's mother and my mom, was on the other end. After a few brief comments, Karen handed me the phone. Ann and I chatted briefly. She congratulated me on being a married woman and told me to enjoy our honeymoon. She also reminded me that I should relax, be the best wife for Karen and be the best and most feminine woman for myself. Ann jokingly told me not to overeat while on the cruise. Otherwise, I might need a corset when I got back to keep my womanly shape. I told her that I might consider the idea of a corset whether I overate or not. She laughed at my comment. Just before we parted, she said, "Pamela, maybe I haven't really said this in words to you since I first met you at your bridal shower. I just want you to know that I love you as a daughter as much as I love Karen with all my heart. You will always be a special daughter to me." After a few seconds of embarrassed silence, Ann told me not to cry, that it would ruin my makeup. She would shed the tears of joy and happiness for both of us. I told her, "Mom, you are special to me and I love you. We will see you when we return." With that, we said our good-byes.

Karen and I had our luggage brought down to the limousine. The hotel manager again assured us that our gowns would be safely protected until Ann picked them up. We thanked the manager for the hotel's kindness and hospitality. Our driver came in looking for us. I was surprised to see that Andrea again had drawn the responsibility to chauffeur us to our destination. After making sure that our luggage had been properly loaded into the trunk, Andrea opened the rear door for us. This time, getting into the limousine was far easier, as I didn't have to contend with the full skirt of my gown and my crinoline. Andrea also pointed out the ice bucket with the bottle of champagne. She proceeded to uncork the bottle and pour each of us a glass. She then put the rest of the bottle back into the ice bucket so that it would stay cold. Karen and I sat close to each other, sipping our champagne. By the time Andrea delivered us to the ship, we had enjoyed the entire bottle. Karen thanked Andrea and gave her an additional tip for driving us and for the champagne. Our luggage was delivered to the handlers for the cruise ship who assured us that it would soon be delivered to our cabin. We then proceeded to board the ship and find our cabin.

Chapter 2

After checking out our cabin, we went back on deck to watch the last minute activity prior to sailing. Family and friends were around the travelers wishing them a "Bon Voyage." While we were on the deck, we were surprised to see Joanne, her husband Roberta and her son Tammy along with of the rest of my attendants come trooping on board. They found us rather quickly. All were very attractively dressed, including Tammy, who was wearing a pink satin party dress with a big bow in back, white ankle socks and black Mary Janes. (S)he wore a pink ribbon in his hair. We all exchanged hugs.

Joanne told us that, after we had departed from the reception, all of my attendants were sitting around talking with Ann about how beautiful the wedding and the reception were and what a radiant and beautiful bride I made. She suggested that we come down here to see you off and wish you a Bon Voyage. "We did not want you to think that we had already forgotten about you so soon after the wedding," said Joanne. Michelle said, "Yes, and Pamela, we wanted to wish you a dual bon voyage, both on the honeymoon cruise and on jour continued journey into womanhood." Roberta commented on how well I was making the transition already. He hoped that Tammy would do equally as well in the coming years. Tammy looked at me and said, "It's really neat dressing in all of these nice clothes, isn't it Miss Pamela?" I agreed with him and told him that I would wish for him to find someone like Karen or his mother, Joanne, when we was older and started looking for a life partner. Tammy beamed with pleasure.

We chatted about the wedding and the reception, until it was time for us to set sail. After exchanging hugs, we bid them a fond farewell as they left the ship. We stood at the railing and waved to them as the ship pulled out. Karen and I decided to stroll around the ship for a while. We agreed to work on our tans by the pool each day. We also wanted to get our hair done while we were on board. As we passed the ship's beauty salon, we stopped in and made our appointments. We continued to stroll around for a while longer until it was time for us to dress for dinner.

Chapter 3

The first night out and our last night out, we had decided, would be the nights that we would wear our long gowns to dinner. Accordingly, we removed our dresses and our slips. We each put on an ankle-length slip that matched the rest of our lingerie. Karen's gown was a royal blue satin gown with short puffed sleeves, rounded neckline and empire waist. The gown flowed gracefully down her body. Mine was in the same style but in a red satin. Karen wore black 3-inch heels; I wore red heels. We touched up our makeup and our hair, making sure that there was enough hairspray to hold it in place. Also, we spritzed some perfume on ourselves. Our jewelry was all gold; dangling earrings, necklace, bracelet and watch. We wore wrist length white gloves and carried evening bags that matched our gowns. Before we left, I complimented Karen on her appearance, telling her how nice she looked.

We went to the Grand Salon where dinner was to be served. Many of the passengers had the same though about dressing for dinner as we did. The men wore their tuxedos; the women wore a varied assortment of long gowns or dressy blouses and long skirts. Several of their outfits caught my eye, including a gold satin ball gown skirt and I pointed them out to Karen for her comment. We made our way to a table with two empty seats. Already at the table were two older couples and two ladies who we later learned were sisters. Each lady had on a different color gown. One sister wore a black satin gown; the other wore navy. One wife wore a lilac colored satin gown; the other wore green. After we were seated, we all introduced ourselves. All assumed that Karen and I were sisters since we shared the last name of Newman. We were not ready to correct their assumption. I was still getting used to being called Pamela Newman.

Dinner progressed nicely, with genial conversation around the table. At the end of a filling dinner and an outstanding dessert, we made our excuses to our dinner companions. We were going to walk in the moonlight, partly for the romantic effect, partly to walk off some of the dinner. The sisters said that we should try to get at the same table each night. The two couples also agreed. We said that we were willing to share the same table, as long as they didn't consider us as unacceptable companions. One of the sisters told us that we were two very charming ladies and that they had enjoyed our company. We promised that we would see them tomorrow night.

Karen and I went up on deck and walked in the moonlight. Not only was the moonlight romantic, but feeling your long gown and slip caress your nylon-clad legs while listening to the steady tap-tap-tap of your heels on the deck is also stimulating. Several times, Karen and I slipped into the shadows to share a long and passionate kiss while our hands freely roamed over the silken bodies of the other. Finally, we figured it was time to return to our cabin and share some quality time with each other.

When we got inside, we carefully locked the door and then went into a passionate embrace. Once we calmed ourselves down a little, we proceeded to remove our clothes, hanging up our gowns, sorting our lingerie into a bundle for the laundry, and removing our makeup. I decided to wear the same negligee that I had worn on my wedding night. Karen chose to wear a negligee in red satin.

Even before we had lain down on the bed, we were locked in another passionate embrace, letting our hands wander over each other. This we continued for quite some time, as newlyweds are prone to do. We again consummated our marriage several times that evening before finally drifting into a blissful sleep nestled in each other's arms.

Chapter 4

For some reason, I must be the early riser, although when I awoke, it was later than I usually get up. Again, my long nightgown that was supposed to be covering my body wasn't covering very much. Karen was still in a blissful sleep, a smile playing across her face. I reached over and gently caressed her face. She opened her slowly opened her eyes and looked at me. "I love you, Karen," I said. This caused her to smile even more. She replied, "And I love you too, Pamela. Our times together have been wonderful." We slowly got up and started our cleaning routine.

Karen and I had decided to wear casual skirts and blouses as we went to breakfast. Each of us had put on minimal makeup and we had gotten our hair neatly styled without too much effort. We left to have a light breakfast before we would spend the day working on our tans. As we entered the salon, we met the sisters, Beverly and Maureen Lewis, who had been a part of our dinner companions the night before. We greeted each other and went in and enjoyed breakfast. Beverly asked if we were going to partake of any of the ship' s activities that day. Karen replied that all we had planned was to sit in the sun and get a tan. Maureen said that they were going to an aerobics class later that morning and then hear a vocalist in the ship's lounge that afternoon. I asked if they were going to dress as formally for dinner tonight as they had last night. Maureen spoke up and said that they usually only dressed that formally the first night out and the last night out. I said that we had planned to dress in the same fashion. We finished breakfast and started to leave. Beverly reminded us to look for them at dinner tonight. We said that we would.

We went back to the cabin and changed into our bathing suits. Karen wore a two-piece suit in light blue. I wore a one-piece suit, also in light blue with a scooped back and high cut leg openings. I made sure that I had carefully tucked myself in before I pulled the suit up on to my body and put the straps over my shoulders. I also made sure that my breast forms were properly placed in the bra cups of my suit. We each wore a lace cover-up over our suits and strapless, open-toed sandals with a slight heel. We each took a large floppy hat, sunglasses, suntan lotion and an old-fashioned white rubber bathing cap in case we wanted to get into the pool. We each carried a tote bag with these extras as well as our reading material. We had a god supply of romance novels and women's magazines to occupy our time. After freshening our lipstick, we went to claim our spot on the deck. It was neat to look down on my feet as I walked and see my polished toenails peeking out from the front of my sandals.

We selected our loungers, overlooking the pool, but far enough away to avoid getting wet if we didn't want to. Each of us used suntan lotion on our arms, legs and other exposed surfaces that we could reach. Karen applied lotion to my back and I did her back. Karen proceeded to lie on her stomach, so that her back would get the sun. She undid her bra so as to reduce tan lines. I sat there for a few moments, staring at my wife's breasts from behind my sunglasses. Karen's body looked awesome. This was one of those rare times that I wished my chest looked like hers. I leaned over and whispered how nice her breasts looked. She just smiled at me. When Karen would fasten her top and lie on her back, I would rest on my stomach.

After a few hours in the sun, I suggested to Karen that we go into the pool for a little while. She reminded me to wear my bathing cap so that my hair would stay dry. We applied some more lotion, and went into the pool. Karen and I swam side-by-side. When we got a little winded, we would stand in the shallow end and just enjoy the water. Karen asked if I noticed that Beverly and Maureen were studying us during breakfast. I told her that I hadn't noticed an excessive attention. "What do you feel that they think about us," I asked her? Karen said she wasn't sure but she didn't think that they believed we were sisters. "Oh well," I said, "Let's just see if they voice any suspicions and then deal with them accordingly."

Around four in the afternoon, we decided that we had had enough of the sun for the time being. We went back to the room to get cleaned up and to get ready for dinner. After taking a quick shower and getting our hair damp, we put on our bras and panties and put each other's hair up in rollers. We took turns drying our hair with the room's portable dryer. While Karen finished drying her hair, I took out my rollers. She soon followed suit. Karen brushed and styled my hair and did my makeup. I returned the favor.

Tonight, for a change, we would be wearing pantyhose under our dresses. We each would be wearing a multicolor print satin shirtwaist with black heels. I told Karen that the dress really set off her tan. She told me that my dress did the same for me. After we selected and put on our gold jewelry, we left the cabin and headed to dinner.

Chapter 5

We entered the grand Salon looking for our new acquaintances. We soon spied Beverly and Maureen as they waved at us to get our attention. We headed for the table. Again, we were the last ones to be seated. I smoothed my dress under me as a sat down. Tonight seemed to be less formal than he first night. The men at our table wore suits; the ladies wore dresses along the same lines as Karen and I wore. We all chatted about what we had done that day. Soon the table talk turned to tomorrow and our first port of call. There was talk of touring and shopping. Beverly suggested that the six ladies present go off and shop and see some of the sights. Her sister and the other two ladies quickly agreed. I looked at Karen and she nodded, so I said that we would love to join them. Maureen told us to wear comfortable shoes, as we would be doing a lot of walking. We agreed to meet for breakfast and go ashore after we had eaten.

After dinner, we stayed and watched the show for a while before excusing ourselves from our companions. From there on, it was a repeat of last night. Karen and I strolled the deck in the moonlight. Every so often we would linger in the deep shadows for a passionate kiss, all the while fondling each other's body through the silkiness of our dresses. Once we returned to our cabin, it was the locking of the door, undressing of each other, each donning of a negligee and then falling on to the bed and experiencing a night of passion. There is supposedly an old legend that states, "If you put a bean in a jar each time you make love during your first year of marriage and then remove a bean each time you make love thereafter, there will still be beans in the jar at life's end." Right now, we were making a good start on having a large supply of beans in that jar.

Chapter 6

Tuesday morning dawned bright and sunny. Is there really any other kind of day during a cruise? Again, I awoke before Karen. Each of us was more uncovered than we were covered by our negligees. I started to stir so that I could straighten up a little. It wasn't long before Karen was awake also. We cleaned up, did our hair and makeup and got dressed. Karen and I decided to wear each other's skirts and blouses from yesterday. We also wore strapped sandals with no heel. This meant that we did not have to wear pantyhose One way to double your wardrobe is to have a spouse that wears the same size. We placed our purses over our shoulders, made sure we had hats and sunglasses and left to meet the other ladies.

Beverly and Maureen met as just before we entered the Salon. Mary and Nancy, the other two ladies were already there. Each of the four wore a blouse, walking shorts or culottes and sandals similar to ours. After breakfast, we went up on deck to watch the ship dock in port. Once safely along side the pier, passengers were allowed to disembark. All were reminded that they should be back on board by six that evening for we would be sailing to our next port of call that evening.

Once ashore, we did some sightseeing, some shopping and some talking, as women normally do. We stopped around one for lunch at a local café. Maureen and Beverly had been on this cruise before and knew the proper places to shop and to eat. By four o'clock, we were all tired from our day and headed back to the ship. Mary said that she would be in the Grand Salon for dinner but would probably be too tired to eat much. We all agreed that we would meet at dinner and maybe just spend the entire evening talking about our shopping excursion today and what we could expect tomorrow.

Karen and I headed to our cabin to relax, clean up and change. By the time we headed out for dinner, we felt rested and ready to enjoy the companionship of our friends. At dinner, Karen and I each only had a salad and some meat. We were too tired to really dig in to the ship's fare. Beverly kept up a non-stop conversation about today with Mary and Nancy adding in their comments. This was one of those times where the two husbands just sat there patiently listening to the chatter about shopping, yet not understanding the thrill of it all.

After dinner, Karen and I excused ourselves and went on deck for our ritual evening walk and other things. As usual, by the time that we returned to our cabin, we could barely wait to get each other undressed and enjoy the pleasure of each other's bodies. We didn't even bother with putting on our negligees that evening. When we finally exhausted ourselves, we fell asleep in each other's arms.

Chapter 7

Wednesday and Thursday were a repeat of our adventures on Tuesday. Up early; dressed in skirts, blouses and sandals; meeting our friends for breakfast and then shopping and sightseeing. After eating lightly during the dinner hour, Karen and I walked the deck in the moonlight. Finally, upon return to our cabin, we engulfed ourselves in the heat of our passion.

Friday was our last port of call. After arising, getting cleaned up and dressing, we began the day at breakfast. Nancy complimented us on how nice we had looked all week in our skirts and blouses. Mary commented how feminine our appearance was. We left the ship and started another day in port.

Around one o'clock, we stopped for lunch at a local place that Maureen and Beverly both recommended highly. The hostess placed us at a corner table. After ordering our lunch, based on the recommendations from the sisters, we sat back to talk and enjoy our island drinks. Maureen looked at us and said, "Karen, Pamela, I really don't want to get personal and if I am out of line, please tell me. After spending this much time with you, I believe that you two are not sisters, even though you both have the same last name. You act more like lovebirds than sisters, in the way you look at each other, talk and occasionally touch. We have all noticed that you excuse yourselves each night to walk the deck together. Also, Pamela, I noticed your engagement and wedding rings on your left hand. And, you both are not making any attempts to attract male companionship. Are you…?"

Karen and I both started to laugh at Maureen's unfinished question. We looked at each other for a second and Karen spoke to our friends. "No, we are not sisters, nor are we what you may be thinking in the back of your minds. Hopefully, this will not shock you, but Pamela and I are on our honeymoon. We were married Saturday and left on this cruise Sunday. Pamela is one of the sweetest, kindest people I know and under all of her feminine finery, Pamela happens to be a fully functioning male. We would ask that whether or not you accept us, that you keep what we have just told you a secret. If it bothers you, we will not sit with you tonight or tomorrow."

All of the ladies were surprised, to say the least. Suddenly, all of the women started to speak at once, wishing us congratulations and asking about the wedding, etc. Finally, Beverly spoke up, "I think I can speak for the other ladies," she said noting their nods of assent. "It naturally surprised us. However, it does not bother me nor do I think it bothers anyone else here.' Mary, Nancy and Maureen quickly added their agreement. Beverly continued, "You both seem to be very happy. Karen, I think that it is wonderful that you have found someone who can accept and express his feminine side. Pamela, you must be very proud to have found someone that accepts you as you are and loves you for it."

I looked at our friends and expressed my thanks to them for their understanding. Beverly leaned over and hugged me. Mary, Nancy and Maureen each got up to give both Karen and I hugs. Beverly looked at me and started to quote Ann's 'famous' saying. "No crying now, it will ruin your makeup." Both Karen and I smiled when she said that.

After we had settled down, Mary asked about how we met, Nancy quickly asked if we both wore bridal gowns or did only one of us wear white, Maureen asked us to describe the gown and Beverly said she wanted all of the details about the wedding. For the next few hours over lunch and a few more island drinks, Karen and I took turns describing how we had met, how our relationship developed and about my bridal shower. I also mentioned what Karen had given me as a shower gift and what Ann had given me. Naturally, the latter prompted the question about little ones in the future. Karen and I just smiled at the question. The women understood immediately.

I then told them that I had worn white and proceeded to describe my gown and my veil as well as my wedding lingerie. I also included what I wore to fulfill the "Something Old, Something New" adage. I told them how beautiful I felt wearing my wedding gown and veil, having my hair and makeup done and walking down the aisle to meet and marry my beloved. Karen told them how she wore a black satin a-line sleeveless gown for the wedding and then described the ceremony and the reception. We talked about the wedding night, giving very sketchy details of the events that transpired. We did mention that the first time we consummated our marriage, I was still clad in my wedding gown. The women all thought that was very romantic. We also mentioned that we had changed into negligees for remainder of the evening.

When we had finished, Beverly, acting as spokeswoman for the group said, "What you have just told us, we will certainly keep to ourselves. We definitely want you to be at our table for the rest of the cruise. We have come to love and accept you as you are. However, when you leave the table early, we will all probably knowingly smile to ourselves at what you are about to do."

At that point, Karen and I excused ourselves to go to the ladies room. The call of nature was getting to me. When we returned, we noticed that they had been in huddled conversation. Nancy suggested that we stop at a shop that had the most wonderful gowns. Mary immediately said that maybe we would find something we liked. We headed to the shop that was nearby. Beverly told us to each pick out a gown. We started to say something, when she told me that they had decided to give us a wedding present and that they thought a gown for each of us would be nice. Karen found a sleeveless light green satin long a-line gown with a rounded neckline that looked exquisite and that fitted her well. I found a dark green satin sheath gown with short sleeves that felt wonderful when I put it on. With four additional voices stating how nice we looked in these gowns, the decision was an easy one. We selected matching shoes and lingerie that we paid for ourselves. After having our selections wrapped, we thanked each of the women and gave them a hug. Maureen said that we each looked lovely in our gowns and that we had to wear them tomorrow night.

On our return to the ship, Mary asked what our plans were for tomorrow. I said that we would probably lounge around the pool for a while and then have our hair done. Nancy said that they would like to join us at the pool, if we didn't mind. I said that would be nice. Once on board we told them that we would meet them at the normal time for dinner. We checked to see what each other would be wearing to dinner that evening. Everybody agreed to be somewhat dressy tonight without wearing long formal gowns. Karen and I headed for our cabin to put our gowns away for tomorrow and to get ready for tonight.

Chapter 8

We had time for a quick bath and hot rollers for our hair before we had to get dressed. I sat in my white satin garter belt, bra and panties and black stockings while Karen, similarly attired, took my rollers out and then combed my hair into a nice style. Hairspray followed to hold the style in place. I repeated the process for her. We then did our makeup. We each put on a white satin slip with lace all over the bodice. Karen wore a dark blue satin cocktail dress with crinoline and 2-inch heels. I wore a dress that was the exact match of Karen's. After spritzing ourselves with perfume, we picked up our bags and headed for the Grand Salon.

Mary was the first to see us enter and waved to catch our attention. We saw her and waved back. Each of the ladies had worn a cocktail dress. Mary wore black, Nancy wore gold that looked sensational on her, Beverly also wore black and Maureen wore red. We exchanged hugs and complimented each other on our appearance. When Mary hugged me, she asked what color lingerie I had on. I told her that I was wearing white satin, from my bra to my panties to my garter belt to my slip. She smiled at my response.

Dinner was otherwise uneventful. All of the women ate lightly because of the late hour and the length of our lunch. We had the usual conversation about shopping and clothes and about how we were enjoying the cruise. Karen and I told the other women how nice it was to meet up with them and be able to be included with them at dinner and at shopping and sightseeing. We stayed for some of the evening's entertainment then excused ourselves. Knowing looks were exchanged among the women. They all looked at us and smiled.

As on previous evening when walking the deck, Karen and I managed to find those shadowy areas and linger there for some time, passionately kissing and holding each other. We finally got back to our cabin. This time we restrained our passions until we had properly put away our clothes and put on our negligees. Then the restrained passion was freed and we set about learning more about each other. When sleep finally overtook our passions, our nightgowns had ceased to serve as a body cover-up.

Chapter 9

Saturday was our last full day at sea. We would be returning to port tomorrow. After four days of shopping and sightseeing with Mary, Nancy, Beverly and Maureen and letting them in on the secret that Karen and I shared, today was going to be a day of rest, relaxation and pampering. I got up and let my nightgown fall back in place over my body. Repacking seemed to go fairly quickly. By the time Karen arose, I had packed almost all of the clothes that we had worn. I left out our skirts and blouses from yesterday, that we would wear for breakfast and our beauty appointment. Our lingerie from last night would be our lingerie today. Our bathing suits were ready for us when we returned from breakfast. Karen got up and put her arms around me. "You are really becoming my wife, what with the packing and laying out our things," she said. With that, she kissed me deeply while running her hands over my negligee covered body. A thrill went through me as she did that and I gratefully returned the favor to her.

We both commented on how great the week was and how nice it was to know each other better. We quickly cleaned up, dressed and went to breakfast, where we met our friends. After breakfast, we all agreed o meet at the pool in a half-hour. Mary commented that maybe we ought to give the newlyweds more time, in case something comes up. Karen and I both blushed and then smiled at her comment. We assured them that we would not be delayed, either necessarily or unnecessarily. They laughed at this comment.

We went back to the cabin and changed into our bathing suits. Karen wore her light blue two-piece suit. I wore my light blue one-piece suit. I went through my routine and tucked myself in and properly filled my bra cups of my suit with my inserts. We wore our lace cover-ups and our open-toed sandals. We ran through our checklist of hat, sunglasses, suntan lotion, bathing cap and reading material. We freshened our lipstick and went to claim our spot on the deck.

Karen and I actually were the first ones on deck, so we saved loungers for the others. Maureen arrived wearing a one-piece print suit in blues and greens. It had an attached skirt and a scooped back. Beverly wore a modest two piece suit in red. We talked and applied suntan lotion to each other while waiting for Mary and Nancy. Finally they arrived. Mary was wearing a one-piece suit in lime green. Nancy wore a one-piece suit in golden yellow.

As we talked and sunned ourselves, Mary happened to glance into my tote bag. She noticed my bathing cap. "Do you wear that in the pool," she asked? When I said yes, she commented that it was nice to see that there was still a woman who tried to protect her hair while swimming. When Karen said that she wore a bathing cap also, Mary said that she really felt that we were meant for each other. After basking in the sun for awhile, we all decided to get into the pool. Karen and I put on our bathing caps and then noticed that Mary, Nancy, Beverly and Maureen all were wearing similar caps. This caused us to have a good laugh.

The afternoon wore on and we realized that our hair appointments were coming up. We told the other women that we were going to get beautiful. Beverly looked at both of us and said, "They won't have to do much to make you two beautiful." We thanked her for the kind words and said we would see them at dinner. We went back to our cabin, changed into our white satin lingerie, skirt, blouse and sandals and went to keep our beauty appointments.

After a few hours of shampoo capes, conditioners, hair rinses, rollers, dryers, nail polish, setting lotion, manicures and pedicures, Karen and I were ready for our last night on the cruise. We went back to our cabin, changed into our new lingerie; put on our new gowns our jewelry and our heels. The light green gown, her tan, her newly lightened and style hair and her makeup made Karen even more beautiful than usual. I made sure that I told her. "You down look to shabby yourself," she told me. We lightly kissed and went off to dinner.

All of the ladies at our table had gone overboard to look nice on this, our last evening out. Hair and makeup, combined with their long gowns, heels and jewelry made each of them look sensational. We sounded like a mutual admiration society as we exchanged compliments over each other's appearance. We enjoyed the dinner and stayed for the entire show. Beverly looked at me and said, "Don't you kids have something else that you would rather be doing this evening?" I smiled at her and said that Karen and I had enjoyed everyone's company so much that we wanted to spend the entire evening with them. All of the ladies were pleased by these remarks.

As it is, all good things must finally end. We took our leave of our companions and went back to our cabin. Realizing this was the last night of our honeymoon; Karen and I took our time with our lovemaking. There was a passion in our actions but we made sure to take our time and thoroughly enjoy each other that evening.

Chapter 10

This is the day we arrive home. . Karen and I decided to wear the same dresses that we wore at the beginning of the cruise. We had sent them to the ship's cleaners and they were back, fresh and ready to wear. Karen was wearing all black underwear, I was wearing pink. After putting on our lingerie, we helped each other with our hair and makeup. Karen and I wore sanitary pads between our legs. We then put on our dresses and our heels. Her soft and silky green dress looked as good today as it did seven days ago. Karen complimented me when I had my pink dress on.

We went up on deck to watch our arrival. Our luggage had already been turned over to the personnel that would unload it. We met Mary, Nancy, Maureen and Beverly and said our good byes. We exchanged addresses and promised to keep in touch. What was becoming a big teary session was stopped when Beverly said, "Don't cry. It tends to ruin the makeup." This got us laughing instead. We stayed together until we were safely docked. We then hugged and said our good byes.

As we came down the walkway, we saw drivers with signs announcing their sought after passengers. Finally, we saw one for Karen and Pamela Newman. It turned out that Andrea was again our driver. She showed us to the car, made sure that we were seated, uncorked the ever-present bottle of champagne for us to enjoy and then went and saw about our luggage.

While we waited, Karen and I drank the champagne and kissed. We finally heard the trunk open and then luggage being put inside. Andrea got into the front and proceeded to take us to our home.

The words of the song of our first dance came flooding over me. Yes, we had only just begun. We were on our way into our life together. With Karen beside me, I felt that the future had great potential. Who knows? Maybe one day there would be an additional Newman in the family.
