Tina,

Great to receive your last email. I am glad all is well at home and that Tina can "appear" almost as often as she likes; Julie my wife doesn't really like Caroline around, so my dressing is restricted to when she is out, which is frequently – thank God! Bought a new dress at M&S last week, lilac short sleeved and quite short! Black overshirt, I think it looks really nice (as that irritating woman says on changing rooms!)

Must go,

Love Caroline

Tina and Caroline had been emailng each other for a number of months, Tina having first written to Caroline after reading one of Caroline's stories at www.Storyline.org. They had found a lot in common.

Hi Caroline,

Yes, all is well here. Kids now away for a while and wife often away on business. Despite her reservations about Tina, she doesn't seem to mind seeing Tina occasionally, she seems more relaxed in her (my?) company and we have had a few girly chats about clothes and makeup and things. Your new outfit sounds really, really nice (sorry!) love to see it sometime.

Love, Tina

Tina,

Why not?? Your last email got me thinking. My wife's away next Tuesday / Wednesday so I had planned to work from home and spend a glorious 48 hours as Caroline. We seem to "get on" well by email and I'd love to meet you so…..what do you think?

Love (and in trepidation) Caroline

Caroline,

Woah, I am not sure. I have never met another TV and going out is a big step for me, I'm not sure if my wife would like it if she knew I was going to meet another TV but, well, maybe she doesn't need to know at this stage. Next Wednesday would be possible, I am at home as well and I know she is out in the afternoon – I need to think about it.

Tina,

Sorry was out over the weekend, just got your reply. I would love to meet with you, I am also a bit afraid of meeting, but if I don't do it now I never will. Can we tentatively agree on Wednesday 9th about 2 o'clock – I have given some thought as to venue and maybe we could meet in the M&S car park in Camberley. It's a huge busy place and I am sure we would never be noticed in the constant movement of shoppers, mostly women. We could just meet up and sit and chat and get to know each other a bit more.

If either of us "chickens out" the other will just be left to sit in her car – I could get there first and sit and wait; if you don't come, or just drive past – well no harm done.

What do you think?

Caroline,

You make it sound so easy, but I am so scared. Of being spotted, of being attracted to you, of looking ridiculous, of lots of things including being found out by wife or friends. I know I am a wimp and, like you I know I need to get out and maybe meet people as Tina. Oh God, can you give me 24 hours??

Love and heartfelt kisses, Tina

Caroline,

Ignore the whinings of the last email. I've spoken to my wife about our emailing and she actually said that maybe we should meet up – I love her to bits and she's so understanding!! I told her of your suggestion and showed her the emails, she would like to meet you as well!! I am so excited could you cope with the two of us?? Annette (my wife) agrees that M&S would be a good place and she says we could drive in together and then she'd leave us to chat in the car park whilst she goes shopping – do we have a date – I am so nervous, like a schoolgirl!!

Tina,

I would love to meet Annette, she sounds wonderful if she's prepared to meet me – I've never met another person as Caroline, except my wife, I do hope Annette won't be too critical about my hair, make-up, clothes!!

We have a date then! But what to wear, oh help – shall I wear my new dress as you asked to see it?? I'll need all of today to get really ready and all tomorrow morning to get myself perfect, but I want to do it!!

Practicalities - let's agree that I'll get there at 2.00pm, you and Annette aim for 5 or 10 minutes later. I'll park up in the section furthest away from the main entrance, I'll be in a blue 5 series BMW, V registered and be looking very nervous. I am longing to see you.

Dearest Caroline,

We have a date!! Annette loves BMWs and has just got herself a brand new M3 in silver so I'll have to squeeze into that and then we can all get into your roomier 5 series. Annette she says she'll be casual but she also says I should look my best! See you tomorrow, I am off for a bath and to shave all over.

Excited!!

Caroline,

I am so sorry I cannot express how deeply I feel I have let you down. Annette and I had great fun getting me ready yesterday evening and this morning, But I felt so nervous and worried I was almost sick. Annette was also a bit freaky about seeing my in my finery about to leave the house, she's nervous too and was worried if the neighbors saw us. But she is so wonderful and after we chatted a bit she offered to go alone and meet you to explain but I thought that might freak you out, I just could not bring myself to go out of the house dressed as Tina and drive off to a date – I know I am so stupid, will you ever forgive me??

Tina,

I cannot deny that I was disappointed and yes, for the record, if Annette had come on her own I may well have panicked! As it was, I waited until 2.30 just in case you had got held up; I could not stay much longer as I had seen a security guard go past a couple of times and he was looking suspiciously at my car! So I drove home alone and a little unhappy but also relieved as I was scared of meeting you as well, but I guess it was too big a step for both of you right now and maybe it was for me as well. Let's keep in touch and, who knows, maybe we will meet someday.

Right now I have changed into a long evening dress and have poured myself a glass of Chardonnay, so I can just chill out and muse on what might have been.

Take care and don't worry

Love

Caroline

Hi Caroline,

Tina has told me a lot about you (and about herself) and I can only reiterate our joint apologies – she really freaked out this afternoon, I have never seen someone so nervous, she was more nervous than I was on our wedding day! I must admit I was concerned as well, I love my husband to bits and think he is the sexiest thing on legs when he is in his smart business suit so when I see him dressed as Tina I am confused as it is not the man I love, yet it is him under that blonde wig. But I am prepared to help him (and us) come to an understanding and I know that will take a lot of time for both of us.

I have read your emails to Tina and, well, I think you sound genuine and I feel for your disappointment.

Can I suggest something, she is upstairs as I write this, still dressed in her finery and, I must admit grudgingly, looking good. How about you come here and surprise her? We live in Guildford and I could meet you at the petrol station just off the A3 near the Hilton Hotel – I think this would be good for Tina and I am fascinated to meet Caroline. If you get this email, ring my mobile and we'll agree a time – 07770 964686

Love, Annette

"Hello, Annette speaking"

"Hi, this is Caroline"

"I am so so glad you rang, can you come?"

"Yes, but are you sure Tina is happy with this"

"She doesn't know, I intend to tell her that I am going out to fill the car up for tomorrow. How long will it take you to get to Guildford?"

"About 30 minutes, but I need to get changed, I can't go out in this evening gown it's too much. Let's say in one hour, at 6.00pm"

"OK, byee"

"Hi honey, I'm back"

"Hi, Darling be right down"

Tina walked elegantly down the stairs, her stockinged legs brushing together as she navigated the steps carefully, one elegant black court shoe following the other. She looked up as she reached the landing, and stopped…..

Her mascaraed eyes widened and a set of perfectly painted nails went up to her lipsticked mouth.

"Hi Tina, nice to meet you at last." Caroline's eyes shone with a welling of tears as she looked on her email friend of many months for the first time.

Tina turned to Annette, she smiled, "Tina, love, Caroline is here to meet you – she is so sweet and don't you just love her outfit?"

Mutely, Tina nodded, her blonde hair bobbing slowly. She descended the last few stairs to the hallway and stood in front of Caroline, smiling broadly. The two "girls" stood looking at each other, a little nervous and unsure,

"For God's sake say or do something, I can't stand the tension!" Annette shouted. Tina held out an elegantly manicured hand and took Caroline's proffered handshake,

"Good God, that's no way to greet your best friend!"

Caroline clasped Tina's shoulder with her free hand and quickly air kissed both cheeks.

"You look really great Tina, where did you get that skirt, and who helped you with your makeup?"

Annette said, "That's me, I bought the skirt and Tina's makeup is my help from this morning before we both lost our bottle and refused to come out to meet you."

Tina finally got up the courage to speak, and it came out in torrents, the women visibly relaxed as Tina explained her nervousness of meeting, the feelings she had as Tina and the importance of her internet relationship with Caroline in coming to terms with wanting to be Tina. Whilst they chatted, Annette brought in some wine and a few nibbles and the women chatted for hours, exchanging experiences and, for Caroline, explaining to Annette how she became Caroline and what being a transvestite really meant to her.

Annette was frank about her worries over Tina and how much she wanted to help yet she did not want to lose the man she had married. Caroline tried to empathise given that her wife, Julie, would not discuss or want anything to do with Caroline.

"It is very hard to explain, I will admit it was, and still is, a sexual thing. But much less so now, I feel an overpowering need to dress as Caroline as often as possible and I get very frustrated if I cannot wear what I want to. Most of my wife's clothes are too small for me and yet I get the urge to wear things I haven't got."

"Like", asked Annette and Tina at the same time,

"Take today, I had just received a parcel containing these lovely knee-length leather high heeled boots in my size. They felt really great on and are ideal for this time of year, but I wanted to wear a smart woolen dress in brown or brown/black and I do not have one. So I put on this lilac dress and black overshirt - which really does not go with brown boots at all!"

Everyone laughed, then Annette said something to stop both of the others in their tracks,

"Why don't we go out shopping now, the stores are open 24 hours this close to Christmas and it'll be so busy no-one will notice. Anyway, you both look good to me."

Tina and Caroline exchanged glances and both smiled. As one they both stood up and Tina went upstairs to repair her makeup and check herself, Caroline excused herself into the bathroom to do precisely the same. Minutes later, they were ready.

"Hang on, if you two are going out looking that good, I can't just tag along in my jeans and sweatshirt – be right back." Smiling, Annette ran upstairs.

"Oh, Tina, it is so good to meet you at last, I think I know you so well and it is so fantastic to be able to talk like this – much better than the stilted messenger conversations." Caroline smiled broadly, Tina nodded her assent and lightly touched Caroline's arm,

"Annette's being fantastic about this, I was not sure what she thought, but she is being really supportive." Tina smiled,

"You are so lucky, Julie, my wife, would not like this if she knew.."

"If she knew what?" Annette was standing in the doorway, stunning in a simple black trouser suit with her blonde hair shimmering in the light from the hallway,

"If she knew we were meeting, she does not know about Tina, or you, or anything that Caroline gets up to really – not that I do, get up to anything that is!"

"Well come on you two girls, the shops await!"

With that, Annette threw open the front door and ran out to Caroline's car the two others following more carefully as they were less sure of running in unfamiliar high heels. Caroline handed Annette the keys and she drove quickly, but expertly, to the local shopping mall and parked a fair way from the main entrance.

"I am so nervous," said Caroline from the dark of the back seat,

"Don't be, you look just fine but your voice is too deep to get away with anything, so stick close to me and we'll get you that dress to go with your boots." Annette was very business like and she took off to the mall entrance, the two other "women" in tow.

The experience for Caroline and Tina was exhilarating, no-one seemed to give them a second look as they breezed into the mall behind Annette she was a woman on a mission and the three seemed to have a whirlwind dash through clothes shops and boutiques, looking quickly and discarding items. On the few occasions that saleswomen asked to help, Annette brushed them off firmly but politely.

Eventually, in Evans, they found a long sleeved dark brown and black knitted dress with bias cut skirt which was in Caroline's size.

"That would suit you, go on, try it on." Annette stood hand on hip with an insistent look on her face,

"Here, me, no way," Caroline hissed, at that point a mousy assistant intervened, "would madam like to try that on?"

"Yes she would," Annette interjected, and thrust the dress at Caroline who glared and followed the shop girl to the changing rooms. A few moments later Caroline reappeared - the dress fitted perfectly and the brown boots looked really great, she was radiant.

"We'll take it," said Annette, "you want to keep it on Caroline?" Caroline nodded and the saleswoman just took Caroline's lilac dress and folded it up, then removed the security tag from the hem of the skirt and smiled, "One hundred and forty nine pounds then please."

Caroline froze, in her handbag she had credit cards but they were all in her male name, oh God now what,

"My treat," said Annette proffering a gold charge card, "for being best friends with my best friend." Caroline planted a kiss on Annette's cheek and then wiped off the lipstick mark with a smile, "you're great, I just love you!"

More shopping followed, with Tina getting a very smart grey skirt suit and Annette wowing all of them in a tight fitting black sheath from Armani, reduced in a sale by £100. They reached a coffee bar and all three sank wearily into the seats, ordering black coffee.

"I need to go to the loo, Tina, you want to come with me?" Annette smiled and the two girls tripped off to the ladies' leaving Caroline on her own. She used the quiet time to open her handbag and use her mirror to retouch her lipstick and check the make-up.

Glancing over the top of the mirror she saw a man sat a few tables away staring at her, she smiled and lowered her eyes demurely, he smiled back before turning away as another woman joined him at his table.

"Enjoy the attention?" Annette quipped, making Caroline jump,

"Yes actually, it was nice," Caroline smiled and Annette giggled, "Better get used to it girl, with a figure like that the men will want to imagine you naked!" Caroline frowned,

"I'm not sure that's my scene really. I enjoy the thought of their attention, after all, as a guy I look at most women and enjoy seeing a good looking lady. But, as Caroline, I guess I am ambivalent about men. I much prefer women and I am often jealous of how good they look."

"You look just great," said Tina, "let's get a bite to eat, I am starving!" The three women left the coffee bar and walked over to a nearby Italian restaurant where the waiters fell over themselves to help them to a table, Tina was receiving a lot of attention from a tall, swarthy waiter dressed in a very tight pair of pants, blushingly she let him place the napkin over her lap and thanked him for his efforts. Annette's eyes were sparkling with amusement,

"Be careful, love, those Italians and dangerous!" The girls giggled and Tina squirmed as the waiter fawned over her, trying hard to accidentally touch her and brushing her breasts with his arm as he administered breads and olives and drinks. Annette smiled,

"Try flirting with him, love, you'll love it!" With that she dropped her napkin on the floor and bent over to pick it up, showing a large amount of cleavage as her trouser suit top slipped. The nearby waiters had all stopped to stare, Annette smiled back and openly reached under her jacket to rearrange her bra strap. Not to be outdone, Tina shifted in her seat, allowing her skirt to ride up and then she crossed her ankles enough that her long, sheer nyloned legs were exposed for all to see.

Caroline smiled inwardly, dressed in a long woolen dress, she could not be as brazenly sexy, but she bent down to her long leather boots and slowly unzipped one, taking her foot out to massage the ball of her foot she let the waiters see beautiful smooth legs.

"You're right, they cannot take their eyes off us, we can do whatever we like and they would be transfixed!" Tina smiled exultantly.

The women finished an excellent meal, the two "girls" being advised by Annette not to eat too quickly or too much and to eat in a ladylike fashion. Caroline paid for the meal – cash as she had used her card to draw out a whole bundle of notes as her card would have revealed her true sex. Accepting kisses on their hands and roses from the management, they skipped out of the restaurant and returned to the car. Driving home, Tina turned from the front seat to Caroline,

"This has been the best fun I have had for such a long time, thank you for coming to meet with me and thank you Annette I love you so much."

"My pleasure, I was always unsure of Tina and was unsure of what Tina and Caroline had going on between them. Now I see that you are such good friends and I really like you Caroline you're such fun." Caroline could feel tears welling up, she dabbed at her eyes with a tissue,

"Thanks both of you, and thank you my dress it is lovely, we must do this again!"

"How about this weekend?" piped Annette,

"Julie's back tomorrow, so.."

"Bring her along," Annette said, sternly,

"But,"

"No buts I accept Tina now much more than I did before. Maybe Julie could benefit from meeting we three and enjoying a bout of shopping, she cannot feel threatened by that."

"I don't know," said Caroline, "I'll have to ask her."

"No, I tell you what I'll come round on Saturday morning and talk to her, she needs to know how special Caroline is and what being Caroline means to you".

"OK, I'll try to talk to her on Friday and I'll call you on your mobile Friday night or Saturday morning – I guess if you don't hear from me then the date is off I am afraid."

Back at Annette and Tina's home, the girls modeled their new outfits for each other and chatted over hot black coffee on topics ranging from clothing to make-up and the difficulties of buying some women's things in sizes not meant to fit men. Eventually glancing at her watch, Caroline realised it was almost 2.00 in the morning, she stood and thanked her two new girlfriends profusely and kissed both of them on both cheeks.

"That was the best evening of Caroline's life, thank you both from the bottom of my heart. Tina, you are so, so lucky to have someone like Annette, treasure her forever."

"I will," Tina smiled at Annette and they kissed passionately. Caroline blushed and coughed,

"I guess I better go now." Annette smiled and the two hostesses let Caroline out of their home, Caroline catching a glimpse of the beginnings of another passionate kiss as the door closed.

"Lucky girls, " she thought as she got into her car and drove home.

Reaching her home 30 minutes later, she was startled to see a light on in the hallway. Parking the BMW she opened the front door and her heart sank, Julie must be home.

"Where the hell have you been dressed like that?" The waspish tones of Julie snapped from the doorway to the sitting room.

"I, I, I've been meeting some friends," Caroline's heart was now racing,

"Nice dress, that new?" Julie snapped, sarcastically,

"As a matter of fact, yes, one of my friends bought it for me this evening at the Mall."

"In return for favours no doubt," Julie's eyes were narrowed in a hateful glare,

"No, nothing like that, we were meeting for the first time and she.."

"She, another of your fucking sexual pervert transvestites I assume?"

"Actually, no, she's the wife of a TV and the three of us had gone out shopping." Caroline tried to remain calm,

"What, how?" Julie seemed to be deflated by this response and Caroline slowly explained all that had happened leading up to this evening's meeting and the good time that she had with her new friends.

"And nothing has happened between you?" Julie looked worried,

" No, my love, nothing. Tina has only got eyes for Annette and vice-versa. I've tried to explain Annette's worries about Tina and I am sure she has a long way to go before she'll fully accept living with both her husband and Tina. Maybe you should talk to her?"

"What, me talk to this women you've just met?" Julie regained some of her composure and her annoyance had returned,

"No, love, not if you don't want to. I know this is a shock to you but I love you and want only you, Caroline is the feminine side of me and she enjoys clothes and make-up and shopping and other girly things." Caroline tried to put an arm around Julie but she pulled away,

"You expect me to believe that? Dressed like you are you could be going out picking up men for all I know, Oh what is happening to us?" Julie started sobbing,

"I just knew something was happening, you were short with me on the 'phone and I though maybe you had a mistress. I don't know if this is worse or not to be honest," Julie whispered between sobs, "I love the man in you I don't understand the woman thing."

"Neither do I love, it's like a burning need to be female some times, not all the time, I cannot explain it nor can many other transvestites that I have talked to on line." Caroline tried to console Julie who did not back away this time, but leant her head on Caroline's shoulder.

"I better not do that, my mascara might stain your new dress, it is lovely by the way, and the boots," Julie smiled wanly, "so what are we to do – what is your female name?"

"Caroline, and we don't need to do anything. I'll get changed and we can go to bed we're both tired and emotional."

"You've put a lot of effort into looking good Caroline, don't waste it on my account, come to bed however you like. I'll just shut up the house and see you upstairs." Julie smiled and touched Caroline's arm.

Caroline walked carefully upstairs and took off her new dress hanging it up in the wardrobe. She slipped off her long boots and revelled in the return of feeling to her toes. Undoing the suspender belt clasps she unrolled her stockings, removed the suspender belt and took off her bra. Her breastforms stayed in place, having been assiduously glued them in place the previous evening and she removed a long peach nightgown from the wardrobe which she occasionally wore in bed with Julie. Changing her dark brown panties for a fresh peach satin high leg pair she rearranged herself to ensure a smooth profile.

Into the ensuite bathroom, she took out the Oil of Olay makeup remover and gently wiped away the foundation, blusher and eye makeup which had taken hours to apply earlier in the day. Surveying the resultant plain canvas, and frowning a little at the emergence of the outline of her beard, she brushed her teeth and walked into the bedroom to sit at the vanity unit. There she used cleansers and night creams in the vain hope that the Clarins advertisements would work for visible removal of the signs of ageing. A final check of her appearance, she brushed her hair carefully and removed her earrings and other jewellery.

Julie had not yet appeared so Caroline checked her nails for any chips or smudges and added another coat of varnish to her toenails for good measure. A final, final check before a coat of lipstick and a brief brush of powder to her beard area and she switched off the vanity light and carefully holding the satin of her nightgown, she slid into bed.

"You look nice." Caroline awoke quickly having fallen asleep almost immediately. Her eyes focused slowly in the light of the bedroom to see Julie s standing in the doorway smiling. She had changed completely from their altercation on Caroline's arrival, gone were the tear stained eyes and the strained expression. Instead was a grin, Julie was made up to the nines with heavy mascara and blusher, ruby red lipstick and a pearl choker around her neck which matched the pearlescent basque and white stockings tightly encasing her sensual figure. The effect was finished off with lustrously brushed long auburn hair and very high heeled white court shoes.

"Wow, so do you." Caroline smiled,

"You had made an effort earlier, so I thought I would return the compliment." Julie grinned back as she slid into bed next to Caroline, "I like that nightie, maybe we should get you a few more to go with it and maybe we should invite your new friends round for dinner at the weekend, I'd love to meet both of them."

Caroline's heart sang and the best evening of her life was consummated in a night of wild passion with the woman she loved.
