A TS Fantasy 10

by

Paul G Jutras

Waking up in the middle of the night, Paul heard the sound scraping across the roof. Being December 24th, it didn't seem likely to be chipmunks. Leaning over to the alarm, he notice it read midnight. "Santa's reindeer?"

Pulling off the covers, Paul crept to the top of the stairs and moved half way down. By the glow of the Christmas tree was a man in a red suit and a long white beard. "This can't be."

"Ho- Ho - Ho!"" Santa said as he blew a smoke ring around his head. The ring drifted over Paul's body and floated down over him. As it passed down his body, his short hair grew down to his shoulder and his manhood reverted into his body. A eight year old girl stood in the place where an eight year old boy had been a moment before. "Merry Christmas, Paula."

Looking down at her fingers and toes, she notice some of her nails were black in polish while others were silver, yellow, blue and pink. Dressed in brief panties and a night shirt, she smiled at Santa and went back to be.

When six am came around, Paula woke up and found it wasn't just a dream. It was true. Paula went downstairs and found all her gifts were done in Power Puff Girls and Barbie wrapping paper.

As Paula knelt down under the tree, a soft bell got her attention. She turned to see her cat Puff walk into the room with her neck bell ringing. She shook her head and then rubbed against her. Paula reached down and rubbed her along the back.

"Ready for eggs and bacon?" Paula dad went down the stairs and saw the expression on Paula's face. "Presents first of course."

Taking a the first box and opening it, Paula found a pair of Cherokee wrinkle free pants and a French Terry Cardigan. "Thanks."

"Shall we continue?" Paula dad said as he pushed over a big present. As Paula opened it up, she found it to be a Fisher Price Family Home and Stable to go with her old Fisher Price McDonalds and Holiday Inn. Not to mention Weeble Wobble Haunted House.

"Just want I wanted." Paula said as her parents started to change gifts of jewelry and ties. Not to mention blank video tapes for recording off of the television.

Undoing a Barbie wrapping, Paula watched as her cat attacked and pounced on the wrapping paper on the floor. Peter Rabbit 21 piece tea set was inside. "This is perfect for my tea parties in my backyard clubhouse."

"I thought you could use this for both outdoor play and when you to dinner. Just loose the tiara and such." Paula mother said handing the next present over and watching Paula open it. Paula didn't know how the presents changed like she did, but she didn't question a miracle. When she opened it, she found a My size Barbie inside.

"This is wonderful." Paula said as the next gift was a interactive vanity mirror with white plastic frame, pink hearts and a pink seat that talks and included such accessories as lipstick and nail polish.

"Here is your final one." Paula dad said as he pulled out the closet with the stickers and assembly done, a Barbie Sport Jeep.

"Where are you going?" Paula mom asked as her dad went to start on the eggs. Paula turned on the garage lights and pushed the Barbie car in the area beside her mothers car.

"Let me know when the eggs are ready." Paula said as she rode around on the Barbie car for awhile. After the breakfast of Eggs, Bacon and jelly covered muffins, she changed into her Barbie dress and went with her parents to Church. It was then, she learned the difference when it came to getting into a car in a dress as well as kneeling.

After Church, she went running into the house while her mother and grandmother talked about what a good girl she was. They spent the afternoon playing such board games as Candy Land, Monopoly, Life and Chutes and Ladders.

As Paula watched her polish nails move the pieces along the board and brush her hair from her face, she felt happier and more at peace than she had ever done in her whole life. She couldn't picture Christmas with the family to be any better.
