Turning Japanese

by Zoez

University had been great for Sid made even better by the arrival of Carrie in the final year. Over from Japan for a year of studying, Carrie arrived at a time when Sid needed a friend. She was tall for a Japanese girl and Sid was small for a British guy both measuring in at five-eight. Besides the height they both shared the same daring humour and both studied English.

As far as Sid could see she was a dream woman come true except she showed no interest in his advances. No interest until the final night before she was due to fly home, when they shared a passionate kiss.

That kiss was enough to hook Sid's heart. As soon as Carrie had gone he fell into a depressive downward spiral. University had finished and the real world beckoned, alcohol couldn't keep it away and nor could sleep.

Sid got a job that despite the job description resulted inmaking cups of tea and surfing the internet bored and uninspired. Through the dark storm in his life, two rays of sunshine crept through, that of the book he'd commited himself to write in his spare lonely hours and of course Carrie. She still kept in touch by email, although her world was a rainbow in comparrison. She had a hig paid job that sent her on important business trip all over the world and a big house. She never mentioned any love interest though and although Sid tried not to think about it he knew he had to move on.

It was six months since university had finished and Sid sipping on his tea was delighted to see an email from Carrie waiting in his inbox. As he read her words he couldn't believe it. She'd invited him out, to live. She offered him the spare bedroom rent free, covering his costs whilst he concentrated on his writing. She even offered to buy his ticket, to her, she explained it would be gat company and keep the house safe while she was away.

As Sid sat in shock another email popped up, again from Carrie. Simply stating she'd booked his flight and he had a week to pack.

Picking up his cup of tea Sid stared at the screen smiling before standing up and announcing he was leaving, before swiftly walking out of the office for good.

The week went so slow, but finally it was time to fly, checking in his suitcase with his entire student wardrobe crammed inside, Sid made his way to the departure lounge and started shopping for a nice perfume for Carrie.

The flight took forever only broken up by the computer games and girlie movies being shown. Sid hated that type of film normally but he realised he wasn't going to get an action or horror flick on the plane.

As the baggage conveyor belt carried the final suitcase round, Sid looked on in dispair, it had been an hour since he landed and now he was certain his suitcase had caught another flight.

Picking up his present for Carrie, Sid made his way out past customs to an empty arrivals hall where only Carrie remained. The sight of her made everything better as they hugged and smiled at each other.

'Er.. This is for you.'

'Thanks, my favourite. Boy, you travel light huh?'

'Not intentionally but they lost by stuff.'

'Oh no. Well, I always though you needed a new wardrobe.'

'Gee, thanks.'

As Sid followed Carrie to her car he noticed for the first time he was in Japan. Everything looked modern and shiny and the Japanesse lette ing was everywhere and English nowhere.

'You're hair's long huh?' Carrie said noticing his chin lenght hair.

'Yeah been leaving it to do whatever, you know.' Sid replied, tucking a strand behind his ear.

'It looks good long.'

Carrie's house was huge. An hour outside Tokyo, in the countryside, it boasted two huge en-suite bedrooms and an indoor swimming pool. As a gesture Sid took his trainers off outside the front door, having read that footwear inside is poor manners.

'Wow, this is a great place.'

'Thanks, listen you must be exhausted what would you like to do; sleep, eat, drink? You tell me.'

'Well I wouldn't mind a shower, as after upteen hours on the plane I know I smell a bit off.'

'Okay fine, there's a bathroom attached to your bedroom, towels, soap and other bits and peices are in there, help youself. I'll find you some clothes to put on.'

'Thanks, you got me clothes?'

'No silly, but you can't wear those stinky things all day, I'll give you some of mine.'

'Carrie look at me, I'm a guy, can't we put these in the wash and I'll wear a dressing gown till they're dry.'

'We could but my machine is broken, I'm waiting for the guy to come Monday and fix it. Don't worry Sid, I'm not going to give you a dress.'

'Monday? Today's Friday.'

'I know and it's a festival weekend here nothing operates until Monday, not even clothes shops.'

'Fine, but I want manly things, no bras, dresses, skirts or frilly tops.'

'Trust me.' Carrie said as she disapeared.

When Sid emerged from the bathroom, towel round his waist he found Carrie had laid a set of clothes out on the bed for him. Towelling off Sid picked up the knickers, plain cotton, no frills or silk. So he put them on, feeling the difference between his boxers, tight, yet comfortable. Next he picked up a pair of black trousers, fine except a flower motif on one leg, although they were loose around his bum and hips. Next the top, a small purple t-shirt that tightly enveloped him, showing his tiny nipples to the world. Compared to his normal wardrobe of jeans, t-shirt and trainers it wasn't a world away and so inspecting himself in the mirror, he reasoned that he was still a man and went through to join Carrie.

'Hey, looking good.'

'Thanks.'

'Not too girly?'

'No.'

'Good. Are you hungry?'

'Yeah, what havve you got?'

'No much. I am going to cook you a delicious traditional dinner later but wondered if you wanted a snack now.'

'Sure, like what?'

'Well.. I haven't got much but cereal.'

'Oh fine.'

Reaching into a cupboard, Carrie pulled a box of Cefem out and a bowl.

'What's that?' Sid asked, looking at the box with a beautiful woman on the front and Japanesse scribbles all over it in pink.

'It's all I've got I'm afraid. It's a little like Special K, designed to give women the necessary minerals and vitamins we need each day and it tastes great.'

'Yeah?' Sid said rather reluctantly.

Nervously tasting a spoonful Sid looked up and smilled giving the thumbs up. Five minutes later Sid was on his third bowl and finally his hunger was being filled. The cereal was delicious, in fact Sid thought of having another but managed to resist.

That night over dinner Sid and Carrie caught up as though they'd never been apart. Sid explained the story of his novel, a revenge plot where the main character was seeking revenge from the policeman that killed his sister. It wasn't the type of book that interested Carrie but she tried to show keen interest.

Towards the end of the meal Sid was utterly embarrassed when he dropped food from his chopsticks down onto his t-shirt and trousers. As Sid fumbled about doing his best to clean himself, Carrie sat laughing as she watched on.

The night had been great and as much as Sid wanted to end the night with a kiss as they'd had the last time they'd met, he resisted knowing that it could ruin the great thing he had before it had really begun.

'I'll get you nightie, hang on.' Carrie said as they both stood up to go to bed.

'A nightie?'

'Well, yeah, what else are you going to sleep in? I'd rather you didn't sleep naked Sid. It won't bite you know.'

'Okay whatever.' Sid said, he knew from experience not to bother arguing too much with Carrie, so he figured he'd let her have her way.

As Sid waited he went into his bedroom and had a proper look. It was painted in white, but the curtains, carpet and bedsheets were all moave. Opening a cupboard Sid was surprised to see it full of womens clothes. Flicking through for something manly, he stopped at what thought was a long pair of shorts but pulling it out he quickly realised it was in fact a red knee length skirt.

'Here you go.' Carrie said smiling as she passed him a white silk nightie. 'You can wear that tomorrow if you want, she said motioning to the skirt.'

'Gee thanks. I'll stick to the trousers though.' Sid said as he took the nightie and pulled a face of disgust.

'Okay, well good night and sweet dreams.' Carrie said before Sid could launch into another verbal attack of her clothes.

Putting on the nightie Sid felt a shiver of excitement. Standing in front of the mirror he couldn't help but twirl as as he admired the feel and examined the thin straps that suported it. Climbing into bed Sid was immediately aware of the new sensation around him but exhausted by the long day he quickly drifted off to sleep.

Sid work up to Carrie's voice although she was stood over the bed and not beside him as he's hoped.

'Good morning, fancy a swim?'

'Ur.. Yeah why not.' Sid answered his mind still asleep.

'Great, there's a swim suit on the chair for you.'

'Swim suit?' Sid assked, waking up a little more.

'Well yeah, I only have one bikini and I'm wearing it.'

Maybe I'll pass on the swim' Sid said as he looked to the purple swim suit.

'Oh come on Sid, don't be so pathetic. You spent yesterday in my clothes, you slept in a nightie, a swim in my costume is not going to kill you or make you less of man.'

'Okay, fine give me two minutes.' Sid replied as he waited for Carrie to leave before getting out of bed and looked again in the mirror at his nightie. It had been comfortable but not something he felt drawn to, as he knew some men were.

The swimsuit was tight and uncomfortable and walking into the pool room, Sid felt more embarrassed than ever. Wasting no time to jump in Sid quickly got in the water and joined Carrie in the pool.

'I was thinking we could go into Tokyo and see the festival today.' She said.

'Sounds good, except I can hardly go out wearing your clothes.'

'What? Why Not? Something wrong with my clothes?'

'Only that I'm a guy and your clothes are womens things. I'll look like a freak' Sid said as he swam.

'Well then, you'll go as a women.'

'What?'

'I'm serious. You'll pass as a woman it'll be fun.'

'No way.'

'Why not? You wore my stuff yesterday, in fact you're wearing my things today, so what if people see you. How many people do you know in Japan?'

'One.'

'Exactly! People either won't notice or care that you're a man. This festival occurs once every ten years, come on.'

'Okay, but only if I'm not too obviously a guy in a dress.'

'I promise no dress, okay.'

Five minutes later Carrie got out the pool, closely followed by Sid.

'Okay, take a shower, there's a razor for your legs in there.' Carrie said, excited.

'My legs?'

'Well I thought you'd prefer to go bare than to wear girlie tights.'

'Well yeah, but why my legs.'

'Well, basically my hipsters I gave you yesterdday were my only clean trousers so now you're wearing a skirt.'

'What?'

'You said anything but a dress.'

'Yeah but...'

'Sid you're acting like a girl, stop moaning, and get showering... And shaving. Oh and you'll need to do your chest and armpits too.'

In the shower, Sid held the ladyrazor up for a moment contemplating what he was about to do before realising it was his one chance in life to see what he would look like aa woman. He had no interest in it before but now the opportunity presented itself he was curious. Shaving his legs he looked at his hairy chest and decided to do the same on his chest and armpits.

Stepping out the bathroom, towel around his waist, Sid discovered another pile of clothes waiting on his bed. This time although the knickers were again white cotton, just like he'd found in one of his bedroom drawers, there was the red skirt he'd looked at the night before, a black vest top and a bra. Not only was there a bra but there were two silicon breasts with it. As Sid looked through the clothes in horror he also found a pair of white tights and down on the floor were a pair red heels.

Pulling the knickers on, the then fastening the skirt around his waist Sid took a moment of hesitation as he held the bra before reminding himself it was his one chance in life to experience life as a woman. Struggling to put the bra on, Sid was silently relieved when Carrie walked in to help, outwardly he acted disgusted but inside he was loving it.

Carrie clipped his bra up and Sid inserted the silicon breast plates, then he put the top on looking down it looked odd, he had breasts. Then he looked up at Carrie and s aid

'I'm not wearing tights, I shaved my legs.'

'Okay fine but try the shoes on, I think we have a similar size.'

'Can't I wear my trainers?'

'No Sid, beside being unlady like, you left them outside in the rain last night, they're soaked.'

'Oh.' Sid said rather disappointed as he put the red heels on.

'They okay?'

'Fine, but difficult to walk in.' Sid said as he took a couple of steps.

'You'll get used to them, now since you also shaved your chest you'd better put the vest top on.'

As Sid put the top on and pulled it down over the bra, he was surprised to find it almost looked good in the mirror. Trying to take a few more steps in the heels he found that if he took small delicate steps then he didn't sway or loose balance.

Taking Sid's hand Carrie led him over to the dresser where she sat him down and began brushing his hair.

'It's lucky you grew your hair out you know.' She said, sliding a hair clip in.

'This wasn't my intention though.'

'Sally, please just relax and enjoy the day.'

'Sally?'

'Well you can't look like a woman and be call Sid.'

'Why not? Sid can be a girls name.'

'But the Sid I know is a guy.'

'Well how about Zoe?'

'Zoe? You want to be called Zoe? Okay fine.'

After the hair was clipped into place, next came the make-up. Once Sid's eyes, cheeks and lips had been assentuated, Carrie gave him a necklace, a ring, bracelet and clip-on earings. Ten minutes later Sid looked in the mirror but could only see Zoe.

The day out passed quickly for Zoe mainly because she was enjoying it so much. No-one noticed her secret and she even found herself center of attraction whenever men passed by. Getting in and taking the heels off before massaging her sore feet. The notion to unclip her hair and removed the make-up never occured until Carrie mentioned it as they were saying goodnight.

The next morning Carrie walked into the kitchen only to be confronted by a surprise. Zoe stood in front of her wearing a pink summer dress, with matching pink mules. Her hair was tied back and light make-up made her face look pretty.

'Zoe?'

'Morning Carrie, I hope you don't mind, I thought I would get something to wear from my cupboard. I know I said no dresses but I figured this is Zoe's last day, so why not go out with a bang.' Zoe said, as Carrie realised her voice was softer than normal.

'Wow, no problem at all. The dress really suits you.'

'You want some Cefem? This is sooo good, it's my third bowl this morning.'

'I'll have a little one thanks Zoe.' Carrie replied wondering when to tell Zoe she'd need to be back the next day to shop for Sid's new wardrobe.

The day went quick chatting, when Carrie suggested Zoe make a final day to shop for Sid there was no objection and Zoe actually began thinking about what wear, trying on a few different outfits that afternoon in preparation.

The next morning Zoe was back. More feminine and at ease than before.

'Shopping for guys clothes whilst dressed as a woman is strange. That last shop we went in, I found myself wanting to head towards the women's section.' Zoe said as she juggled a few big bags.

'Well if you want some of your own clothes just say so Zoe.'

'Oh, no way. This is my final day Carrie, it's been fun but no, I miss being Sid.' Zoe said as she looked down at the long skirt, top, breasts, tights and heels that helped create Zoe.

'Shame.' Carrie said genuinly disapointed. 'Before we go we'll just nip in a couple of women's shops I need a new skirt.' Carrie said, turning around and leading the way.

In the first store Zoe followed Carrie as she eyed up the rails of clothes but resisted the strong tempation to inspect some. Carrie scanned some skirts pulled one out and held it against Zoe.

'You'd suit this.' She said.

'It's nice but I'm done shopping.' Zoe replied trying not to let it show that she found the idea of staying Zoe for longer an intriguing one.

'Maybe another day.' Carrie said with a dissapointed smile as she left the store.

The next store Zoe didn't follow Carrie around, instead pretending to brouse. At least that was the plan, anything to avoid Carrie trying to persuade her to buy something. Zoe's eyes found some tempting clothes that drew her in for a closer look. Were it not Zoe's final day she realised that she wouldn't have been able to resist buying something.

Back home, Zoe quickly disapeared and a few minutes later Sid made an entrance. Wearing a tighter top than he was previously used to, his bare toes showed traces of nail varnish and his hair was still tied back in a pony tail. The new wardrobe had been picked by Carrie and Zoe and as Sid thought more about he wondered if he'd have got the same things two weeks ago shopping as Sid. It wasn't that his new wardrobe was feminine but it was definately different to his old one, perhaps more grown up. The clothes were more fitted than baggy.

'Sid's back.' He announced.

'Hi Sid.' Zoe replied.

'You like my wardrobe?'

'Yeah, it's nice. Look Sid I was going to tell you sooner but got a little lost being with Zoe. Basically I really, really like you but as a friend. I want to be honest because I don't want any tension between us.'

'Okay.' Sid replied, dissapointed.

'The truth is since England I've realised I'm gay. I know we once kissed but I was experimenting. So please don't think we'll ever go back.'

'Okay.' Sid said in shock.'

'I invited you here because you're a friend and I can't imagine how hard it must be to work and write a book at the same time, so I want you to stay, not work but write. I've opened you a bank account with enough money in to keep you comfortable and buy any thing you want, should you need more just ask.'

'Okay.'

'Are you sure? I wish I did feel that way about you but you're the wrong sex.'

'Is that why you made me dress as a woman?'

'No that was due to your lack of clothes. Although I will miss Zoe.'

'Thanks for being honest, I must admit I did have a hope that we could... You know.. But being a friend is enough for me.'

'Thanks Sid, it's not easy to come out you know.'

Two weeks since he'd arrived and Sid had found himself a comfortable routine. He's get up at around 9, take a swim (he now had shorts). After the swim he's have breakfast, normally at least a couple of bowls of Cefem. After breakfast he'd sit down and do some writing. Around lunch time he'd stop, have some lunch, read a magazine, which was normally one of Carrie's womens mags. After lunch he'd do some more writing before stopping and preparing dinner for when Carrie got home.

It was a month since he'd arrived, the eve of a big business trip for Carrie, in which she was going away to New York for month. During dinner Sid felt it was a good time to check she was still happy with their living arrangements.

'Are you sure it's okay for me to still be living here Carrie?'

'What? Of course, you're a great house mate. It's almost like having a girlfriend here.'

'Thanks, but if you're refering to Zoe, she's not going to make another appearance.'

'I know, I didn't even mention her. So how's the book?'

'It's good. Although I've hit a wall of sorts, having problems really finding my characters and relating to them.'

'Hmmm, you know there was an article in Marie-Clare about that a couple of months ago.'

'I know I read it. It said to try and act out certain traits just get the feel.'

'And?'

'Easy for some characters but harder for others.'

'Well if you need any help when I come back, just ask.'

'Thanks.'

A couple of days after Carrie had gone Sid was about to get in the pool, when looking down he noticed his chest was a little swollen. Tender to the touch Sid put it down to having slept awkwardly and jumped in the pool.

Writing was getting hard to do as with Carrie gone Sid's routine was gone and he found himself wandering around the house bored. Walking into Carrie's room was something he'd not done before but as he stepped inside curiosity got the better of him. In his room four of the five cupboards were full of Carrie's clothes, so he just had to see exactly how many more clothes she had. Upon inspection she had just as many. Incredible that one woman would need so many clothes, although upon closer inspetion Sid saw that the ones in Carrie's room were size 10, the one's in his were a 12. Understandable he reasoned, that she should have so many spare now.

The swelling in Sid's chest didn't go away but didn't seem to be getting any worse over the next few days, so he decided not to bother trying to find a doctor. It wasn't the only thing as he found his emotions all over the place, actually crying during a chick-flick on tv the day before. Sid put it all down to a mixture of lonliness and adjusting to his new home.

When Carrie arrived back, Sid cooked a huge welcome home meal. He wore a shirt as he worried that his swollen chest would show through a t-shirt. He'd been doing some reading on the internet and had found it's a condition that affects a lot of guys called bitches tits, where the chest area swells. Having learnt this, although not happy about it he decided to try and ignore it.

'How's the book coming along?' Carrie asked.

'Not too bad, I'm starting to get into my characters now.'

'Really, excellent, I can't wait to read it.' Carrie said wondering if Sid'd voice had always been so light.

'Well it's still months away from that.'

Two weeks later Carrie was called away on business again. This time Sid tried harder to concentrate on his writing and really get into the characters. Since Carrie away he decided to try some character development he'd not tried since. As it was the female characters he was having trouble with Sid decided to try a few feminine touches. First he shaved his legs, armpits and chest as he had months before. Next he plucked his eyebrows down a little and decided to grow his finger nails a little. That was as far as he was prepared to go. He didn't want to try Carrie's clothes or make-up again. These changes were meant to just be subtle ones which would be gone in 5 weeks when Carrie would be back.

Sitting down at the computer in shorts and t-shirt his legs naked and smooth, his nails slightly longer than he was used to but very noticable as he typed, Sid felt a little more like his female characters.

As good as he now felt his writing was going Sid found the evenings lonely and boring, sat infront of the computer. Television had never been his greatest passion and Japanesse tv didn't improve matters, however, Carrie did have a huge DVD collection, mostly of soppy chick-flicks. At first Sid did his best to do or watch anything else but after the first one Sleepless in Seatle he was hooked. Wiping away a tear Sid was amazed at how good it was and just how he was able to relate to Meg Ryan's character.

The weeks passed quickly and before he knew it Carrie was back. His chest had swollen even more and this time Carrie noticed it.

'Sid, is your chest okay? I mean it looks bigger somehow.'

'Oh, that? I've got a thing lots of guys get called bitches tits.'

'Oh, okay. As long you're okay. If you need to talk to me about anything, anything at all I'm here for you.' This time Carrie could tell that Sid voice was definately getting higher and gentler.

'Thanks but I'm fine.' He said. As Carrie looked at his she noticed some changes, he seemed to have less stuble and his eyebrows were less bushy. However, having not seen him for weeks she figured that she had just imagined it.

Carrie didn't have another business trip for months so Sid got back into his previous routine. Heading into the bathroom for a shower Sid looked in the mirror for a trace of stuble but saw none. It was more than a week since he'd needed to shave his face, a vast difference to daily hassle he used to have. Stepping into the shower he picked up the ladyshaver and began shaving his legs. This was his new shaving chore, his legs, chest and armpits. He'd done it initially to get into his characters but had found it looked and felt so much better than being hairy. The other things he'd done to get into his characters; plucking his eyebrows and growing his nails he'd also kept doing. Carrie had thankfully not noticed although he didn't grow his nails too long he kept them shaped.

His hair was getting far too long, and with split ends so Sid decided the day had come to get it trimmed. It went down past his shoulder but had no real style or body. Having long hair was still a new thing to him, but he knew he didn't want it short again. He decided to look through a few magazines to get an idea of what he wanted. The problem was they were all womens mags though. As he flicked through he tried to find a guy with good looking long hair but found nothing. Trying to work out what to do, he decided just for the hell of it to look at the women. Then he saw it, Rachael from friends. Sid knew it was the hair that Sally his main chacter would have and he knew if he tied it up then Carrie would never realise he had it too. Without hesitation he ripped the page out and headed out to the salon.

Hours later Sid was in the kitchen his hair tied back in a ponytail and Carrie walked in from work.

'You've had you're hair cut.'

'How did you know?'

'Women spot these things. Looks good and you got highlights. Oh my god you got your ears peirced too.'

'Yeah, I thought I'd see what's like. I figure as my main character wears them I should try it.'

'Really? The highlights and ear-rings? The guy getting revenge from the cop?'

'What? No, I scrapped that story line. It's now about a woman who falls in love with her brother's best friend; a policeman.'

'Oh, right.' Carrie said wondering when that had happened.

'Oh, I've been meaning to ask something.'

'Yes?'

'Well, now don't go jumping to conclusions but I need to try on those trousers of yours I wore when I first arrived.'

'Okay.'

'My body seems to have gotten rather large around the hips and bum and my trousers don't really fit anymore but I remembered your trousers were big around the hips and bum on me when I first arrived.'

'Sure, they're in one of your cupboards help yourself.'

'Thanks.'

After dinner Sid came out of his room wearing the trousers.

'Perfect fit. I think I might need to buy some until I can get my weight problem sorted out.'

'Really, well help yourself to any of my clothes.'

'Well apart from the trousers I really can't see myself needing anything else thanks.'

'But you'll need knickers.'

'Knickers? No way.'

'But Sid you can't wear boxers, the underwer is too visable in those.'

'So I'll buy some pants.'

'Okay, suit yourself.'

A week later Carrie went on another business trip, this was to be for six weeks, the thought of this worried them both. Sid felt that he didn't write as well when she went away and Carrie was concerned about just who she would return to. It was obvious that Sid was turning into a woman but it annoyed her that he wouldn't admit it. As she left the house she decided that if she came home to Sid agaithat she'd do what she could to entice Zoe out for good.

A couple of weeks into Carrie's trip, Sid had alised that if he wanted to write a truely strong and believable story he would need to buy some make-up.

That evening as he applied mascara to his eyes he knew he was in deep. When he ventured out into the city now he tried to look as feminine as possible in the hope of passing as a woman. His chest had grown too big to hide and with his hair, nails and eyebrows it was easier to pass as a woman than a man. As such he found it hard not to induldge in being a woman, in fact too hard as he'd spent the day shopping and ended up with three pairs of heels, a bag of make-up, a dress, knickers, four bras, two skirts, tights, four pairs of trousers, hair clips and three tops (two of which were low cut to show his clevage). He'd gotten home with everything but hadn't had the courage to wear anything.

Carrie returned home from the trip with a shopping bag from a popular American womens store.

'Hi Sid. I got you a little present.' She said as passed him the bag.

'Really? Cool, what is it?' He asked opening the bag.

'They're shorts. It's getting warmer and I figured you might like to have some.'

Sid pulled the shorts out and held them up against his waist. They were white, pleated and went down to his knees, with a little flowery embroidery around the waist.

'They look nice.'

'Try them on.'

'Maybe in a bit, I'm cooking.' Sid replied realising he'd kept his leg shaving a secret and now she'd surely notice.

'I'll watch it, you go.' She insisted.

Five minutes later Sid emerged looking sheepish.

'They fit well.'

'They look really good.'

'But they almost look like a skirt.' Sid replied.

'It's a style called Collets. They look great on you with your shaved legs Sid.'

'I...'

'I already knew, research, I understand. You shouldn't be ashamed. So do you like them?'

'I do, thanks.' Sid said, deciding to ignore what he'd planned to argue; that they were womens.

After dinner Sid disappeared only to reappear wearing the the collets and a small white fitted top that was low cut in the front and showed off some cleavage. On his feet were a pair of shoes, not any she'd seen wear before, and not Carrie's. They were white sandals with a two inch heel.

'Wow, you look good.'

'Thanks, I thought they would all go.' Sid said as he sat down on the couch, crossing his legs.

'I like your shoes.'

'Thanks, I figured that I shouldn't need to hide my research from you. I got them because I want to experience heels, to be honest it's the first time I've worn them as I don't want to go all feminine, after all I'm only researching and I'm still a man.' He said.

'But if you like being dressed as a woman then don't worry.' Carrie replied deciding not to mention the top even though she couldn't help but stare at his breasts.

'I'm not dressed as a woman. I realise that I may have become more feminine in appearance since I arrived but that's part reasearch and probably part living with you.'

'Well don't be shy to show of your feminine side to me.'

'Thanks. Once I've got my weight gain under control and finished the book manly looking Sid will be back.' Sid said his voice quivering, soft and feminine.

The following day Carrie was having a lunch time coffee in the city when she thought she said a familiar face. Walking into a womens shop wearing blue skirt, sandals and a blue top was a woman who looked just like Zoe. Carrie was tempted to go and see but hesitated as she knew that if she was meant to know then Sid or Zoe would tell her.

That evening Carrie returned to find Sid wearing a new pair of jeans. They were fitted perfectly for a womans shape and looked great on him. On his feet were a pair of blue one-inch kitten mules, on his top was a fitted white shirt. Through the jeans Carrie could see he wore a thong and through the top she saw a bra. Furthermore in his ears were dangling earrings. Rather than saying anything she decided to keep quiet and wait.

That Saturday morning Carrie got up, walked through to the kitchen and stood unnoticed looking at Sid, she could see so cleary what he denied. Sid was more Zoe than Sid now. Carrie wasn't sure how it had happened but she could see from his collets, curved hips and waistline, breasts that were now at least a c-cup, long nails, shaped eyebrows, peirced ears and hair. The hair was always tied back, always except now. Sid wore it down and as Sid turned to notice Carrie she could see that not only did it bear resemblance to Jennifer Anniston's but he also wore a sparkly hair slide in the front. It wasn't Carrie's slide though.

'Morning Sid.'

'Morning Carrie.'

'I like your hair.'

'What? Oh thanks.' He said feeling the slide and quickly taking it out with embarrassment.

'Hey, leave it in.'

'It's not...'

'It's okay Sid, please put it back.'

'It's character development.'

'I'm sure.'

'Sid, please don't take this the wong way but after breakfast will you do me a little favour?'

'What's that.'

'I want you to try some clothes on.'

'Womens clothes?' He asked with paranoia.

'Yes.'

'Why?'

You'll see. Will you?'

'Okay this once but Carrie please after this time no more alright.'

'Fine.' Carrie replied hesitatant to point out he was already wearing womens clothes.

After Sid had eaten two bowls of Cefem, Carrie walked off and returned with a smile. '

Okay Sid I've put some clothes and shoes on your bed, if you put them on and show me I'll never bother you about this again, I promise.'

'Right.' Sid said slowly heading to his room. On the bed he found a blue dress. On the floor next to the bed were a pair of blue mules.

Slowly stripping down to his bra and knickers he slipped the dress on, zipping it up, he looked in the mirror, it fit perfectly. Putting the heels on he stepped back to the mirror. Taking the hair slide he put it in and stood motionless for a minute as tears welled up in his eyes.

'Sid?' Carrie asked from the other side of the door. 'You okay Sid?'

'No'

'What's the matter?' Carrie asked opening the door and looking in.

'Sid's gone. I mean look. This is what you wanted to see right. '

'No this is what I wanted you to see Zoe.'

'What happened to me?'

'I don't know but what do you think of your reflection?'

'I like it, I mean I'm not sure. I'm a man.'

'That can be changed if you want Zoe.'

'Please stop calling me that. I know as I stand here now I look more like a woman than a man but I'm a man. I don't know what's happened to my body.'

'It's not just your body though you've been getting progressivly feminine over the past months, your clothes, your hair, your nails, eyebrows, you wear ear-rings, you shave your body but not your face. Face it you know as well as I do that you've been changing.'

'But most of that has been research, just one-offs for the experience.'

'But they haven't just been one-offs though. Look stay as Zoe today see how it feels. I'm off on business tomorrow for a week, take that time and think things through, when I get back whatever you decide I'll help you.'

'Okay, I know you're right.'

'Great, well you better put some make-up on Zoe, you can use this.' Carrie said handing Zoe a new make-up bag crammed with new products.

The following morning Sid woke up, walked through into the kitchen in the long t-shirt and knickers he now slept in, Carrie was gone but she'd left two envelopes. One addressed for Zoe and one for Sid.

Tying his hair back, he picked both up unsure which to open. Putting them down he poured himself a bowl of Cefem and sat down staring at the envelopes.

The night before had been strange, Zoe and Carrie had gotten on better than Sid had recently. The clothes we so comfortable and he felt good wearing them, leaving Sid sure that whichever way he decided to go he was going to have to start wearing a bra for the support. As Sid thought more about it he realised he was also going to have to continue to wear knickers and womens trousers too for the fit. As he sat eating, the idea of his body getting hairy like it used to was so unappealing he knew that he would need to continue shaving.

The idea of opening both envelopes was not one he entertained as he knew the decision started with them. To give it some more thought he decided to head to the pool for a swim. In the pool room he walked over to his trunks. They sat on a blue towel, whilst next to them on a pink towel sat a pink bikini. The bikini wasn't Carrie's as far as he could see and upon closer inspection it was not even her size it was Zoe's.

Again a decision had to be made. Taking his t-shirt off Sid looked at his breasts and remember ed the support the bra had offered. The bikini would offer the same, which made Sid pick it up and consider trying it on. He only though for moment before tying it round. It felt great, so good he decided to go ahead and wear it. It didn't mean he was a woman, did it? Taking his knickers off he picked up his trunks but putting them on seemed pointless, he swapped them for the pink bikini bottoms and got into the pool.

An hour of swimming later Sid got out of the pool picked up the pink towel and wrapped it around his body like a woman. He'd not yet made a decision but entering his bedroom he opened up the cupboard and tried to think. Before him hung skirts, tops dresses and his new trousers. Reaching for his trousers his hands moved and pulled out a purple skirt and put it down on the bed. Next he picked out a white top and proceeded to get dressed. Carrie had given her some bras the night before and as she looked in the mirror, dressed and made up Zoe knew Sid had gone. Putting on a pair of kitten heels Zoe walked into the kitchen and opened her envelope.

Dear Zoe

I know you're going to love being a woman. All the clothes in your room are your's, I've been secretly adding new clothes in your size for weeks, waiting for this. I hope you like them but if not then a perfect excuse for us to do some shopping. I have a guess at how this happened apart from you sub-coniously wanting it I imagine the excessive amounts of Cefem may have played a part, after all it is for women only.

Can't wait to see you next week, love Carrie.

P.s. Maybe now we can expand on the kiss we had last year.

Putting the letter to Sid in the bin, Zoe poured herself a bowl of Cefem and smiled at the future ahead of her.
